I think if we're going to have one away kit, surely it's got to be something which stands out from all the home kits. Yellow, green and blue have all worked well in the past, although I do like the white third kit.

If we assume yesterday was roughly our strongest XI, that leaves Long, J Rod, Austin, Boufal and Sims as our other attacking options (at least those proven to be first team quality). I can see J Rod leaving as we've got a striker too many but basically Sims and Boufal are our only AM options. I'd like to see one more.

Austin did score when he was fit and playing. Long has never been anything other than a 6-7 goal a season man at this level, his performances have been on par with the rest of his career. I agree the tactics have been poor at times (Be'er Sheva at home was a particular low point for Claude's credibility) but if CA, JR and SL had been doing their job we wouldn't even have signed Gabbi.

The worst part of it all really is that most of them really aren't that bothered that they won. To them it's just the 'cardboard, tin pot trophy'. Pretty much all of social media is full of them and Liverpool b*tching about who's got the most trophies. I'd hate to be a Man Utd fan, I honestly would. The day I'm not bothered about winning a trophy, I'm going to stop watching football.

Couldn't give a toss what they think or what they do in the 87th minute. I wont be watching. I'd just ignore them personally, nothing worse than being irrelevant. If you really feel the need to respond though...

I'd be tempted to go with the same team, maybe Hojbjerg in the middle and Sophie-Anne instead of Tadic. Would be good to see Caceres get some game time but I've no idea if he's fit enough to start yet.

Can't see Utd asking for anything like that and I certainly wouldn't pay it. I wouldn't want him as a starter but as an option off the bench and starting cup games, he could be handy.

Would assume Januzaj will be available come summer if this really is the year we lose Sunderland. At the right price and wages he would be a decent replacement for Isgrove.

As poor as we've been at times, I think Puel gets a raw deal by many. Look at how sh*t Liverpool are without Mané and we don't have anything like the depth they do to cover for him. Yes he has got it wrong at times but he's had far less talent at his disposal than Koeman.

So proud of the team but if that isn't the most typical Saints vs Man Utd cliché, I don't know what is. I'll just move this up here. Will a cup final being heavily influenced by a fairly obvious (on the replay) offside decision be enough to spark debate within the powers that be? Should it? Was today just part of the entertainment of the game? Taking our Saints hats off, did that decision add to the spectacle, from a neutral POV?

Actually men are feared for being thugs. My girlfriend is East European, says a lot of the men there are alcoholics or drug addicts and dealers. If you respect that, fair enough. I don't.

Would love it if literally nobody went. A tournament being played in empty stadia would be a proper embarrassment to that regime.
