  1. You know what, I fully agree. You are clearly a far, far superior wit and intellect to any of the druids on here. So much so that it’s actually a total waste of your time posting on here at all. I suggest you leave for a forum more befitting of your wisdom and leave us simpletons to our meaningless dribbling.
  2. Organ signs a two year extension. Happy with that too, decent versatile player.
  3. Happy enough with that, he’s a solid enough batsman who can cover all formats.
  4. Hardly surprising, although last year was hardly any better. We just never had a solid week of hot, touching thirty, sunshine that we usually get one off a year. I’ve seen nothing resembling a proper thunderstorm either.
  5. Yeah, it’s not really though is it, it’s another drama queen, look at me post.
  6. Wow, that's all of 85 minutes you've given Archer to prove himself in the league.
  7. That doesn't follow, we haven't signed any CBs better than THB in the intervening period. We have with AA. THB is our best CB, it'll just take a bit of bit for him to find his feet. I wish that wasn't the case but we don't have a better option, and persisting with the three certainly isn't one.
  8. THB was our best CB last season, he isn't suddenly worse than JS or JB. What do you propose instead, playing the latter two in a back four, because that'll almost certainly get us relegated.
  9. Laim Dawson scores a century and then a double fifer. Not bad.
  10. Sack him and get someone like Dyche, who's tough, resilient and hard to beat.
  11. Good grief Everton.
  12. I don't know but I'm not going to say definitely, definitely not and sack him after three.
  13. Probably best you don't run the club then, given that half our signings only arrived yesterday and two of them aren't even eligible to play today. I'd call it knee-jerk to sack a manager after ten games but three is next level impatience.
  14. I’m not sure what the rules are. Bazunu got crucified conceding two from slightly closer and more central at Ipswich.
  15. We're beating Man Utd in the cricket at least.
  16. No, he looks like a young player, making his PL debut in a struggling team.
  17. I’m amazed they both started, personally. Especially after Les and Fred were taken off after 60 minutes against Cardiff.
  18. Yes, that’s correct. Stephens has been here years and has shown himself to be a substandard Premier League player. THB is playing his third PL game for us and clearly needs a bit of time to adjust.
  19. I highly doubt many if any of the obese Americans out there have been studying published dietry guidelines. Quite the opposite, I think they're all just shovelling in convenient junk food because it's stuffed with salt or sugar and tastes nice.
  20. No, because they had more talent than anyone else around them. There are thousands of men out there who put just as much effort into football as kids and ended up working in a Halfords Autocentre. You can put a lot of effort into something AND be motivated by money, they aren't mutually exclusive. Some of the smartest, most motivated people I know left the UK to go and earn a pile of cash in the middle east, it's hardly uncommon. You're missing the point RE: Cantona and Bentley. Both could have played at the top level for a lot longer than they did, had they wanted to. Toney is a 28 year old with 6 England caps, Bentley was a 29 year old with 7 England caps, Cantona was a 30 year old playing for Man Utd. It happens.
  21. I tried to find that video from a couple of years ago of the TalkSport presenters being fooled by a prank about him being told, "you a not a loan." Doesn't seem to be anywhere on the interweb, nevermind. Welcome Max!
  22. I'd rather have him playing in the Hagrid costume than another game with McCarthy, personally.
  23. Why does it baffle you. Most footballers have a passion for the game but there are invariably a few for whom it's just a very, very well paid job. He'll earn an utterly obscene pile of cash for a couple of years working in Saudi Arabia, after which he can either stay for more cash, move to another league or just retire and spend the rest of his life doing what he wants. David Bentley, Eric Cantona and plenty of other have retired early because they just lost their passion for the game. It's not unreasoable.
  24. Mason Holgate with a chance to concede another five on debut, this time at Fratton for WBA.
  25. Awe-inspiring? No. Would I rather have him in the squad than Edozie, given a straight fifty fifty choice? Yes.
