  1. More Mourinho anti-football against a big team.
  2. So he had a good game at home to the worst team in the League. My point is he was poor throughout his stay here and one game against a poor team isn't enough to change the overall opinion of him. Saves are bread and butter (unless you're Forster). PG struggled when it came to commanding his defence and collecting crosses and Palace didn't exactly have Beckham swinging them in at Drogba for 90 minutes.
  3. Whoops what? Like I said, they were at home to Palace. People said similar things about Paul Smith when he deputised for Niemi. Let's see how he plays at the Emirates in 2 weeks, then make a judgement over the rest of the season, if indeed he keeps his place.
  4. He's never looked like a Premier League 'keeper and a home game for Spurs against Palace is unlikely to change the general opinion of him.
  5. That's not being objective. Our support isn't amongst the worst, it's just average. Places like the Emirates, Etihad, HMRC, OT and Goodison are just as bland and soulless. The new WHL will probably be no different and even places that think they're good, like Anfield, aren't really.
  6. We did, he just hasn't turned out to be as good. I said before the summer transfer window I wouldn't have been upset to sell all three of Austin, Long and J Rod. I'd still stand by that as none of them do anywhere near enough at this level. Long runs and does f**k all else. Austin is just a chavy Rasiak. We just need someone with some physicality up front. Even Kenwyne Jones would have improved this squad.
  7. Some people pay a couple of grand a season to watch Saints, if you include all the train (or sometimes plane) tickets and hotels. If it was a one off performance by an otherwise decent team then I too would be questioning our supporters but it's not. We've been just dreadful to watch since last summer. 10 blanks in our last 13 home games and half of the 6 goals we did score were penalties. Our support isn't the embarrassment here.
  8. Huddersfield are better than Man Utd.
  9. Couldn’t be arsed going, didn’t care when the goal popped up on my phone.
  10. Going to be touch and go whether I can get my traditional Boxing Day dump in before that KO time.
  11. Every time I watch that goal it reminds me of how hilarious Allan Nyom can be.
  12. Basically he is trying to deflect attention from his own hilarious performance on the pitch by posting a ‘death threat’ probably made by a 13 year old, spotty virgin on his mum’s laptop. He will probably p*ss his pants and start crying when the police turn up to his house for a chat (the kid, not Lovren). I doubt there is a celebrity on Earth who hasn’t received a death threat thanks to the wonders of social media. Quit fishing for sympathy Dejan, you dreamed of playing for these World famous, passionate fans. YNWA etc.
  13. The one holding the power drill and aubergine.
  14. Saving a fortune not bothering with games this year.
  15. My parents once asked me for a link to the jacket I wanted for Christmas and I accidentally sent them a link to the girl on girl pornography I had recently been watching. That is embarrassing, not a 1-1 draw with Brighton.
  16. This isn't playschool where everyone gets a gold sticker for taking part. Players have to seize their opportunities as they come. McQueen, Stephens and Sims did it last year, waited for their chances and grabbed them with both hands. Boufal and Hoj haven't done that. When they have been given starts, or even sub appearances, they've been largely anonymous. That said, I would start both tomorrow.
  17. Olomola banging them in for Yeovil.
  18. Wasn't that the game he failed to give us about 4 others? I remember at least 2 stone wallers for fouls on Lambert and a couple of other debatable ones.

    Barcelona

I just hope everything goes peacefully and Catalonia doesn't end up like The Donbass.
  20. If it wasn't on the coast, nobody would say it was a derby. They are no closer to us that Chelsea, Swindon, Bristol or Reading. To get there you have to drive past P**pey, Havant, Chichester, Fareham, Bognor and Worthing. It's not a derby. It is no more a derby than Watford vs. Leicester or Bristol vs. Reading.
  21. I remember getting on a train in to SMS when we played them in the Championship. Turned out I was the only Saints fan in a carriage full of Brighton fans, who promptly started singing that stupid, "Championés!" song. Wish I had the balls to sing back with WASWTOTL but I felt a bit self conscious on my own.
  22. It's 70 miles away and takes the best part of 2 hours to get there, with traffic. It's not a derby.
  23. Morgan had a very good season under Koeman, Fonte had two. Both of them improved under Poch but they didn't falter when he left, it wasn't until THEY left the club that they began to struggle. I've no doubt Poch got the best out of that squad but I wouldn't say that the peaked because of his management. Shaw just hasn't worked out at Man Utd, he's had his own problems with fitness and his relationship with Mourinho. Lovren is in a Liverpool team which just can't get it right defensively. They've gone from deluding themselves into thinking Gerrard can be Makelele, simply because he was getting old and slow, to Can and Henderson, who are just plain average.
  24. Lambert peaked under Adkins, he was getting on a bit under Poch. Morgan and Fonte were equally as good under Koeman. Shaw and Lovren only played for Poch here, so there is no reference point for them. Jay's injury has more to do with his form that Poch. If he could be that good again for £15m, Spurs would have snapped him up.
