  1. We don't need a 4th CB, we need a first one; Virgil, Yoshi, Chambers and Stephens is not enough. Yoshida and Stephens have stepped up admirably but even playing incredibly negative, safe football we shipped goals. We need someone who can come in and be a strong partner for Virgil (on the of chance he does stay) right from the off.
  2. Just go on http://www.flightradar24.com and keep an eye on Eastleigh, much easier. Also, need a guy at the National Express coach station.
  3. That is an interesting question too. If the US can launch an effective first strike against their comms and ballistic missile sites, they can probably limit the damage to South Korean civilians. I can't imagine any of their ancient Soviet jets getting close to an F22, even if they did make it off the ground. Perhaps I'm underestimating the enemy here but even with their manic obsession with the military, I can't imagine it being any more of a problem than Desert Storm was. Surely better now that waiting for them to build a functioning nuclear warhead.
  4. So every news outlet going has reported it being sorted by the end of the week and now it's been narrowed down to possibly Wednesday or Thursday but probably by Friday. Thank f**k for ITKs
  5. Maybe I'm being massively naive here but supposing this did lead to war, which you would assume the US wins eventually. Where would that leave the country post war? Could it be unified? Would the Chinese tollerate it on the condition that all US troops eventually left the peninsula (including the South). Would the population welcome a united Korea and see the US a liberators, or remain hostile? How much of the population has been completely brainwashed and how many are just living silently in terror?
  6. Laugh my tits off if Liverpool bought him TBH.
  7. He was never going to trouble Fonte, Virgil and Cedric for regular football. What would be the point in leaving Arsenal's bench to sit on ours?
  8. Agreed, if a club is unable to provide an adequate stadium they should have to arrange a suitable alternative at their own expense, as I assume Spurs are with Wembley. Most fans are annoyed at them getting a free stadium from the tax payer but this stinks of having your cake and eating it to me. Like a bloke catching you in bed with his wife and asking him for a lift home.
  9. Don't see the point in having Chambers back. He wouldn't get in at CB as we have 3 better options already and we're still after one more to replace Fonte (I hope). He's not as good as Cedric and even in today's market I wouldn't spend anywhere near £20m on a reserve RB when Pied looks, if nothing else, adequate. Don't we already have enough CM who work hard but lack pace, physicality and creativity. What's he going to do that Classie or Hojbjerg can't?
  10. We still might have found some decent investment, eventually. Don't forget when we went down Spurs and Man City were mid table rivals for a few years. If nothing else we might have held on to Bale and Walcott a bit longer and have a bit more money from them.
  11. That was a military operation, there was never any intention to harm civilians.
  12. TBF, that bloke in Finsbury Park did kill 743 people, that's more than double the number killed on 911.
  13. Liverpool were in a similar boat when they sold Suarez for silly money. Whilst their replacements looked decent on paper (apart from Balotelli) they fell a long way back as a team overall. Remains to be seen how Everton cope without RL.
  14. A moderately intelligent parrot could do your job mush.
  15. This might be the most MLG thing ever posted by MLG.
  16. As long as we back him up with some experienced signings, like Akinbiyi and Jon Stead, I think that could be a very astute appointment.
  17. The penalty thing I think is to try and stop encroachment, not that I agree with it.
  18. No but a plane has just flown over my house from the East, the same direction as Germany.
  19. Seems someone at FIFA has been reading Saints web http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40311889
  20. I personally think a whole crowd of people all wearing the same colour adds to the atmosphere. Gives a sense of commonality, almost like a uniform. I know we'll never get close to the yellow wall but still...
  21. Rebrov did a decent job at Kiev although I think it would be the end of Bertrand, Redmond, Virgil and Olomola. http://www.bold.dk/fodbold/nyheder/rebrov-kvitter-dynamo-og-soeger-mod-england/ Some Danish website reckons he's coming to England.
  22. TBF so was Koeman and he left.
  23. I very much doubt we've paid up his full contract. There will be numerous clauses in it stipulating what he can expect under various circumstances. To put it into context, that's more than Utd paid Moyes to terminate a contract with 5 years remaining. Chelsea paid Mourinho £8m when he had 3.5 years left.
  24. You've been on here 10 years and still haven't figured out the basic psyche of a troll? In short, they will post whatever they need to in order to derive a reaction from other people. It doesn't need to have any bearing on reality, so long as other people are talking about them. Thanks for obliging BTW. Back to what I was going to post, decent signing for Everton that. They're certainly splashing a bit of cash early on, although when you consider who Klassen is probably replacing the pressure will likely be on him from the start.
  25. He isn't. (A shirt over hoodie wearer, he is a grown man)
