Good effort getting yet another dig in at Bazunu after a McCarthy howler. We play out from the back, it’s our style and we need a goalkeeper who’s comfortable playing the ball in order to do that. You can’t play the way we do with a goalkeeper who just boots it up the pitch under pressure, it just doesn’t work. Yesterday happened because McCarthy isn’t good enough and never has been apart from six months under MoPe and Hughes. We didn’t get promoted ‘thanks to him’, he’s not making mistakes because of ‘the way we play’, he’s just a poor keeper.

I love the fact that he’s already on a yellow, commits an act of Pompicide against two players and has the audacity to have a go at the ref.
-
That's just not true, we're perfectly capable of losing against eleven men, even if we did start brightly today. We're not very good at breaking teams down because we have a team full of Championship players, until that changes we're going to keep having the same problem.
-
We need an upgrade on Smallbone and/or Aribo so, without knowing anything about this player specifically, it's a move that would make sense.
-
He made a mistake like that because he's nowhere near as composed as Bazunu on the ball, which was always going to cause us problems. We needed to get someone else half decent in, instead of giving McC a new contract.

Turns out distribution IS as important as shot stopping for a goal keeper then. Who'd have thought.

Everton giving us all a reason to be cheerful.

What has violence forty years ago got to do with Sky viewing figures? If anything football is going the other way, the PL are selling bigger TV deals to more countries than ever. As more countries emerge economically and more people around the world have disposable income, the trend is only going to keep going.

Hopefully he’s more Romeu than Mellis.

Nobody would want Ings if he hadn’t been here before.

Those two wickets have put it back on a knife-edge. Was crucial getting Handscombe, he was going well over a run an ball.
-
Cant remember but two years ago it was 93 year old Darren Stevens who took us to school in the semi.
-
Poor sport, picking on someone when they're not here.
-
FFS, we're getting Lee Bowyer as manager! 😩
-
Can we just call him Jeff?
-
30-3 with the ball, decent start.

Funny how people mis-remember players like that. If Wolves have a properly tough season this year, Lemina will be the first player to down tools and go missing. The Primark Pogba.

I love these vague, ‘I know something but I’m not going to give any details’ posts.

Thanks Derbyshire, I guess.

Who was the last signing that genuinely got you excited?

In 2016 I was convinced we’d found two genuine future stars in Hojbjerg and Boufal. -
Correct. The other day I saw someone had written ‘Free Ian Watkins’ on a wall using human sh*te and I’ll admit I didn’t read that with an open mind either.

I think you need to rethink the moral of ‘The boy who cried ‘Wolf!’’, or in this case, the quack who cried ‘myocarditis’. I’ve long since stopped paying any attention to Tiss’ favourite vaccine-denying, lard connoisseur and his desperate quest for infamy. The thumbnail for that video alone is laughable enough, just scrolling through the thread. 23 and a bit million a year, so basically a Rwandan genocide in between every Saints home game but you know…. Not going to take them to court because it’ll just make a fuss.
-
Oh good, I look forward to seeing the full details of his lawsuit published in the very near future. You know, the one he’s definitely going to file against the government, Pfizer, AZ and co. With all of his definitely real evidence, which will definitely stand up in court. I do miss lockdowns though. As everyone knows, you’re not allowed to stay at home, alone, unless the government command you to and without that I was forced to go to Greece for a week in July. Hated every minute of it.

I watched that video with an open mind and I have to say, it’s completely changed my outlook, compared to what I was expecting. I thought it was going to be just another crackpot, Wakefield wannabe, quack with no real evidence of anything, but I was wrong. It’s actually exactly the same crackpot, Wakefield wannabe, quack with no real evidence of anything. Really makes you think….

Best guess, they’re using their strengths (better equipment, training and mobility) to mount lightning raids into Russian territory, capturing small settlements in the border Oblasts. This will boost morale in Ukraine, showing that they can fight back, as well as causing embarrassment and unrest in Russia. Putin will not be able to project his tough military image whilst part of Russia is under occupation for the first time since 1943 and will be forced to drag units away from where Russia is strongest, I.E. the slow moving, artillery dominated meat grinder in Donbas. He’ll be forced to keep a sizeable number of troops stationed across the length of the border from now on but they’ll be spread too thin to mount a meaningful offensive into Ukraine, with so many resources being tied up in the East.
