Oh the ironing. Still, JRod isn't half as bad as 'Chambo'. Personally I'd have given him to Arsenal free just so I didn't have to read that pseudonym on here.
-
Breaking news on SSN, we're talking to Burnley about JRod. Nothing new.
-
Prutton looked like he had some decent potential under Strachan. His career could have been completely different if it wasn't for a series of dodgy managers, sh*t teams, injuries and a long suspension. He had a terrible environment in which to develop his tallent, Jrod won't have this issue.
-
Looking at his scoring record he seems to be improving year on year, which is encouraging. Last year 21 goals Year before 15 goals Year before 1 goal (on loan at Barnsley)
-
Andy Carroll had a similar scoring record in NpC. Same build, same age. The only difference between them is 11 goals in the Premier League and that added a extra £28m to the price tag. I know that kind of idiocy is a 1 off, even by Liverpool standards, but it just goes to show how prices sky rocket when you're buying from the Prem. £7m is a good price.

If Jrod signs I'm not sure where this leaves Guly. He wont get a look in up front unless injury befouls 2 or 3 strikers at the same time. He will get murdered by a few Prem teams in midfield, I certainly don't want to see him playing RM again. -
We're back in the Premier League and we're trying to sign a 22 year old England U21 who was one of the Championship's top scorers last season. Come on, he's got to put a pointless negative slant on it somehow, even if it is factually incorrect.

You could be right. There's also Bale/Forecast, sort of but not really. Davies/Beattie and then a year later Egil/Davies -
Really hope this is true. £6.5m plus a couple of add ons would be a decent price. If he scores a dosen goals in the Premier League teams like Spuds and Liverpool will start chucking silly money at him. If he proves his worth over the season he will triple his price.

Bridge/Le Saux and Jones/John are 2 that stick in my mind. I think the later was technically 2 seperate deals, but it was basically a swap. -

Hopefully we've set up a new surgery which will enable us to stick Seedorf's brain in Forecast. Not sure what we'd do with Forecast's brain, stick it in a llama or something for a giggle. -

I'm pretty sure you can. That's not a transfer as such, you're just offering a player a contract. -

Wouldn't be my first choice but he has earned a chance at a higher level. I'd rather him than an old injured has been like Hargreaves or Owen. -
If you are refering to the racism issue which is apparently preventing the Chamberlain family from Ukraine then it is indeed sad. I'm not entirely sure it's THAT bad though (I'm posing this as a question not as a statement of fact). I'm sure there will be a few racist hooligans chanting offensive songs, but I doubt it's bad enough to force all ethnic minorities out of the country. I can't imagine large gangs burning crosses in the lobby of the Chamberlain's hotel or pelting their car with petrol bombs as they drive through Kiev. I'm not saying they aren't right to have concerns, but with the massive Police presence there I can't envisage any serious trouble. Also there are plenty of South American and African players in the Ukrainian Premier League. Less so with Dynamo Kiev, but the core of Shakhtar's team is Brazilian and Metalist Kharkhiv only has one Ukrainian (the goalie) in the starting 11. They all seem happy enough to live there, let alone staying in a secure 5 star hotel for a few nights.

Liverpool for me, can't stand most of their fans. Second would be Spuds because of old Twitchy Face. Third probably Everton, I think they got very late goals in both fixtures last time in the Prem, we owe them one. The big 4 are all a given for any newly promoted team.
-
If by great you mean 'score 5 goals and spend most of the time in the treatment room' then yes, he will be. Their squad is going to look pretty thin next season, what could be funnier than them spunking money on a player who wont be available most of the time.

If you can't win a game in over 2 hours of football, you don't really deserve to. The lottery of a shootout may not be entirely fair, but it's as close as you will get. Taking penalties is a legitimate skill, it's not like you're flipping a coin to decide the winner. The other suggestions are all a bit Micky Mouse and would be a lot worse than pens. Possession - Extra time would be the most defensive game of anti-football ever. Just passing around the back 4 trying to keep the ball. Corners - Why should you deserve to win just because you've wasted more corners than the other team? Shots on target - Again extra time would be stupid, players just taking hopeless shots from the halfway line, just to tally up another effort on target. I'm more inclined towards getting rid of extra time personally. In any game but the final, it's not really fair on the away team.

I wouldn't want Bosingwa purely because of the monobrow. Kalou would be pretty handy, but bigger clubs will be interested. -
I think 'not wanting to leave the NW' really means, 'not wanting to leave the NW.... unless you give me lots and lots and lots of money.' In the world of broadband, skype and email I can't believe anyone would sabotage their career for the sake of moving 4 hours down the motorway. I love stereotyping Northerners as much as the next man, but they don't all go round grandma's house for a nice home made hot pot every night.
-
I also think he deserves a longer penalty, although I doubt it will make any difference to the family of the victims. 3.5 years, 10 years, life... nothing is going to bring their children back to life. Don't see why he shouldn't go back to playing football either, ruining his own life wont achieve anything. That's the problem with getting behind the wheel drunk and killing people. NOTHING anyone can do will ever bring them back.

155. The only ones I couldn't remember from this century were Stern John, El Khalej and (for some reason) Bale.
