  1. He played Ok but I don't know feels to me more case of us going backwards losing (Redmond and Tella), than an indian summer.
  2. On the line he has better odds of saving it than a failed superman audition. There's no way Mccarthy gets that same credit for missing a cross.
  3. Really, Is that a real technique come out and deliberately vacate the goal with the hope that it will put the opposition player off putting the ball in the empty net.
  4. I just look at him and fail to understand how he keeps getting minutes. No matter how bad he plays he back on the pitch the next game. Guess there must be some feeling that technically he's a striker so if we put him on the wing he may inadvertadently score.
  5. There were moments today he was solid. There were also moments where he was very poor.
  6. I think the only thing you could say is that Bazanu is better at coming out of his box. I do feel they are at the stage that if they drop him now it'll wreck his confidence and their investment, which is why they won't change things
  7. Overall the feeling coming away was relief that Ineacho missed so many presentable chances Keeps us in the hunt at least i suppose Bazanu: 5 sorry(superman misses the ball at the end and the fluff kick) AMN: 8, excellent, looks he may be a Fb not the CM he wants to be KWP: 8; standard KWP fare ABK: 8, once got caught out and still recovered Bedanrek: 6, reasonably solid, there were still dodgy moments though Lavia: 7 better in first half i thought but still good JWP; 7, despite missed penalty thought be had a decent game. Showed common sense taking Maddison down late whilst Moi mucked about Alcaraz: 7. One of the few players i actually feel confident about when they have a chance Walcott: 6, ok put himself about. When the moment came to shoot was awful though Sulemena: 6, everytime i look at him i think we spent 22M on a guy with a bit of pace who can't shoot rather than recall nathan tella. Adams: 7, a solid adams game. He's an excellent link up player despite his other falws as evidenced by the goal Subs: A.Armstrong, 1. Played worse than wednesday. How he was called upon after wednesday was bizarre. Only half decent thing i saw him do was hack maddison Mara: 6, like always mara has flashes where you go there is a player in there. Still surprised we didn't use Onachu's aerial ability instead Moi; 6, Reminds me of me. All discipline and hard work and no talent. Worked today because we were 1-0 up but wont work most times S.Armstrong: 6, A experienced head to calm things down
  8. Not surprised by Perraud being dropped, he was awful midweek. Still annoyed bednarek is starting.
  9. C'mon Arsenal.
  10. Agree regarding Djenepo. Thought he was one trying to take people on wednesday. I really hope it isn't both Moi and Stu in those roles
  11. Why would Gyorkeres come here. He'd surely be looking at clubs in the premier league.
  12. The stunning impact of zero goals and zero assists. Should have been loaned out in January imo to help him develop.
  13. Not surprised at all. He’s had zero end product Djenepo was certainly better than him midweek. Even Walcott had more of an impact. S.armstrong and moi’s Stock rose from just not being involved on wed. That’s 4 ahead of him plus sulemana if he’s actually going to ever be played there.
  14. He was awful when he came on in the Leeds game. Had that 1 nice piece of movement for disallowed goal yesterday but otherwise he was not good. Still Think the pace he has lost just makes him not much use anymore.
  15. I’d also argue he was often misused by Ralph tactics. still had moments like Brighton away last year where he was very threatening. To me was bizarre we loaned him out and brought in someone (edozie) hugely less ready for premier league football. Then we’ve wasted more time and money on the likes of orsic rather than recall him in Jan, when he was impressing so highly at Burnley.
  16. Did wonder about thinking that as such an off the ball incident would result in red/yellow card not ball moving to spot of the foul.
  17. It’s nonsense to say he’s got no technical skill. You don’t dribble past people if you’ve no technical skill. Also scored a quality goal against city. He’s far too erratic for my liking but of the options we’ve left ourselves he was one of the few tonight to stake a claim to play again this season.
  18. Better than the likes of elyounessi / aribo / Walcott / orsic / edozie
  19. Djenepo was one of the few positives tonight. Given how bad armstrong and elyounessi were I can understand that choice. Making 9 changes though was excessive.
  20. You do wonder if the pass back as the first option (unless you are in a field of space) is the coaches idea or if the players are just petrified and constantly passing the buck.
  21. Maybe he sees it as a positive that he didn't get injured, which would have affected his chances of getting out of this comedy club.
  22. It is depressing thinking today's result likely ensures we end up playing Bednarek and Elyounessi for the rest of the season as we attempt to cower our way to survival.
  23. 1) Aribo ( i Don't get him he's slow and seemingly has a horrid touch, maybe he's just devoid of confidence but he seems like an ali dia signing) 2) Bednarek ( I still despise him, joke of a player) 3) Orsic ( people said he was quick when he signed, i've seen zero sign of that. Just seems a passenger)
  24. Mccoist thinks Aribo is a good player, so he's clearly insane
  25. At least 1 saints player will be playing in the next round. Apparently he's not good enough to play for us, lol.
