Oh as much as i think today was on Selles negative approach, i agree the players aren't fit to lace the boots of previous sets of saints players. This summer should be clearing as many of them as possible. Look at Burnley they've kept 3 or 4 from last year in their starting lineup. My fear with our bloated squad is that we'll try and keep these losers.

With exception of the Chelsea result and 15 minutes against Spurs, the performances have been pretty dire. Fluking a win against Leicester and United having a man sent off has just made it seem like we were going to make a fight of it.

The really sad thing is that first half it was there for the taking. 2nd half was just predictable.

Palace were completely there for the taking in the 1st half, but Saints set up completely negatively. 2nd half one team came out with a flea in ther ear and it wasn't saints. Prdictable goal conceded. If Bazanu is going to do that on the first goal he might as well let the ball go. It likely would have gone out the other side of the box. We do look like a team that hasn't looked at the league table. You'd assume on the basis of this half that both teams were virtually safe on 33 points, not that we have 23 points
