Yeah united are a top half team at best. Saints definitely need more cutting edge but on another day we win that, at the very least with competent unbiased officating we have a chance of levelling it from the spot.

It's apparently OK to play basketball if you are a big team. Bet if we tried that you'd suddenly find a different interpretation.

vAR a bunch of cheats that just backs up their baised mates.

Clear evidence of bias in referring. clear evidence of bias in media, refusing to even mention that football doesn’t involve basketball. as for saints. Decent performance. We lack clinical ness, which we all knew. Deserved at least a point if cheating refs/ var actually did their job.

Not a particular fan of moi but seems biased to ignore his beautiful through ball to Adams. -

They had the best chance but saints had more. Lovely ball from elyounessi, pity Adams couldn't wrap his foot around it. Equally I think Armstrong should have been expecting the ball to get to him and should have done better. -
I’d definitely prefer to keep Stu over elyounessi. If someone came in with a very good bid then I could perhaps understand losing him at this point.

Seemed like a player that was really going to kick on at the start of Ralph's reign. Still a reasonably solid player but if he's now so far down the pecking order he can't make the bench against Cambridge(before we bring in any additional signings), it would seem to make sense to loan him out or sell him.
-
I'd doubt it unless Stephens also leaves. Losing Bednarek would take us down to last year's number of CB. Stephens as 4th/5th choice wouldn't be the end of the world imo.
-
Maitland-Niles seems a potentially very useful signing. May be more attractive to him now we're to be probably selling message he'd primarily be a midfielder and only offer emergency cover at FB.

I did have the same thought (based on nothing more than his complete disappearance after his sub appearance against Spurs)

For Ukraine there is easy deniability given the current climate & high reward of striking someone in the heart of Russia. Personal risk for an operative sure but that's part & parcel of the job.

Is it Ballard time soon?
-
I'd love it to be true but if this was really iminent would he be in the team at cambridge.
-
Odd that Walcott has gone from bench to absent. No redmond or Stephens, hopefully deals are imminent for them. Didn't expect to see Adams start.
-
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Ukraine had something to do with it. It would fit in with the much more aggressive approach they are now pursuing. The west hasn't shown much interest in setting boundaries.

See Regulon is being linked with a loan to Forest. If there's any truth to it, wonder if we would have enquired to given our defiency at FB.
-
Martinez looked better but you do wonder how much that was down to Liverpool not having the more physical Nunez. Hopefully saints wrap adams in cotton wool and get him to bully Martinez.
-
Whats the current situation with Redmond given his absence from last 2 games? Is he injured? Now below Walcott in the pecking order?

Watching the MOTD highlights of City vs Newcastle game left me with impression of biased reffing. Offside flag (where Almiron was miles onside, thankfully overturned by var), no penalty(when stones clattered into Schar), initial red card for a trippier trip (which was thankfully overturned by var)

They have spent the least of the promoted sides and the business they have done seems weak to me. They beat a poor Villa on opening day but didn't turn up in either of their admittedly tough games therafter. Maybe they surprise me but looks to me like a team that's preparing for the drop rather than Fulham/Forest who are doing everything to establish themselves.

Sorry don't agree with that. Much rather see Lyanco play over him. In a toss up with Stephens, Stephens at least offers some versatility at 4th choice. So yeah you can pretty much say he may be better than a failed RB who we are trying to convert into a CB. Get rid asap.
