If we've got new city FB coming in, plus Djenepo, plus hopefully Maitland Niles coming in that covers us.
-
His deficiency defensively (from limited games so far) definitely seems a large concern. Time's on his side as you say but hardly one to be banking on either.
-
If Maitland-Niles has had a medical what is holding it up.
-
Personally i'm hoping we have a recall clause for Jan if he keeps up form.
-
Annoys me a bit how much focus motd gives to city thrashing a newly promoted team.
-
Weren’t we linked to loan cb today from France or was that my imagination.
-
Don’t mind seeing Saudi Arabia losing to be honest.

Really hope saints can show the mentality to turn the screw on them and we don’t end up the one where all wolves shots fly in.

The Cody Gakpo Transfer Saga Thread

Maybe but gakpo’s comments on not being able to answer whether it was his last game and it being a moment of truth can easily be read as make it worth my while to stay. -

Feeling like we may be being used to get him a bumper new contract there. -
Anyone know is Rafferty Injured again or just opting out of this round of Internationals? Northern Ireland: Caragh Hamilton and Grace McKimm called into squad for final qualifiers - BBC Sport "Cliftonville defender Burrows has pulled out due to "personal circumstances" while Rafferty, who started and scored for Southampton on Sunday, has also withdrawn."

Sports Republic a secret front for Man City to get a B team in the league. More seriously seems like we are utilising Joe Shields connections while we can.
-
Wasn't particularly happy at the time when we signed him as i was a big fan of Cork and it was another step down the road of Cork moving on. But he's been a good solid model pro for us. If it's true hopefully he can help Girona establish themselves.

Saturday felt like a missed opportunity. So it was really nice to see Saints exposing and punishing another major player that's in a bit of turmoil. Every player played well and most importantly worked their socks off for eachother. Hopefully club can back it up with some more good trasnfer business.

Surely can't let Romeu leave if Lavia's out.

Was expecting to see Diallo be advanced of midfielders. Showed with the 2nd goal his strength driving forward, not completely convinced by him as a DM mid though. Generally a good display. Armstrong looking a threat. Hopefully the goal gives him confidence. Really important period coming up. Can we manage the game with the lead. Perraud feels slightly undercooked. Wonder how long he'll last.
-
I’d be surprised if perraud lasts 90 mins, so assume djenepo will replace him at some point tonight.
-
Interesting to see how Diallo does. Not too convinced by elyounessi. His lack of pace in particular concerns me.
-
Can't really see why Dyche would want that job, given the vast liklihood of relegation.
-
For me FB seems less of a priority now. Djenepo has surprised everyone. Are we really going to get anyone better than we have on loan. We can always revisit in Jan if Tino is a long way off still. Yeah i'd love 2 players in. The reality though is we aren't likely to shift all the dross (Moi, Redmond, Stephens, Bednarek, Walcott), so i'll take one good one that's ideally got some versatility
-
Good to see he got another goal

Can the mods please come in and clean up the match threads(really 4 man u threads)

Anyone else think Fernandes didn't intend to scuff it in the corner?
-
Such a shame he couldn't keep his shot down. That's about the only negative.
