Also noticeable how it seems we feel freer playing away from home than at home( Fulham/Palace) games vs (Brighton/Forest ) games

Yeah unless we stay up it'll most likely be 8M for what is effectively a 6 month loan.

Can't say i'm particularly enthused by this signing. Maybe if we were less rooted to bottom i'd be more so. Feels like one of those signings where 6 months from now we've ended up spending 8 million on a player who in the event(highly likely) that we'll be a championship won't play for us and will be foisted on loan somewhere with us paying a proportion of his wages.

Signing players based on a world cup goal rarely works out. As much as it's interesting to be looking in the over 18 category, spending on 30+ doesn't feel that great either. I'd much prefer hear news of Tella being recalled.

Was really hoping/expecting energized return after the World Cup. Hoped we’d be proactive have early signing sorted & have tella back in the building too. At this point after 3 bad losses you wonder if they should just accept relegation. Don’t buy, save money for championship. Sell premium players if there are good bids.

Other results went ok for us. Just such a shame saints have to play the other teams at the bottom. Lampard don’t worry saints are riding to your rescue.

I understand the 5 at the back against Fulham. It worked until we refused to defend a corner. But Forest at home to play it was wrong. Then to persist with it till the 85th minute was criminal. Also not really getting his selection tombola. Players who i thought were ok at the weekend were either left on the bench, given desirory minutes or played out of position.

Jones sorted that out i see, he's convinced our players to never hit the ball towards either net.
