Utterly bemused that we have any interest in CB's. This is a club that spent a huge amount of money on 2 of them in the summer. We also have a further 2 CB's who are only out on loan and there looks to be zero chance of actually selling. At this rate we'll be able to put out an XI made out entirely of CB's.

I've not got much knowledge of foreign markets. Also given we're last and there is a fair chance of relegation we need to be careful we are not signing players that are going to refuse to play in the champ if staying up fails. CB is the only position i'm happy with our depth. We Need a striker. Gyorkeres perhaps. Doing well in a mediocre champ team and scored against us last season. We need a centre mid. Not really got a firm thought here. I see Luton's midfielder Allan Campbell aged about 23 won several awards at their player of the season last year so wonder if Jones might be inclined to bring someone he trusts into the engine room. I'd recall Tella, which gives us much improved pace in the squad. If i've still got a 3rd, if we've still got a PL loan slot maybe the best player we can get.

Have there been any transfer links to any of jones’ former Luton players such as the midfielder Campbell?

3. Relegation would be deflating but winning a cup would be nice compensation. 1. Don't really have an issue with losing 9-0 nil in principle. Staying up in principle is good too. My only concern is if it is just leaves us swirling the toilet bowl for another year in sunderland style

So why aren't Fulham bottom of the premier league if playing in the championship equates to being awful, their players all played in that division last year.

We should of course recall him. He's playing well and we are extremely weak and short of pace in the positions he can play. We loaned him out to help his development. That has worked. Letting Burnley continue to benefit whilst we get relegated makes zero sense from even a financial perspective.

Thought he showed much more promise at full back than as a winger. Yeah so giving him a new contract early based on that, spending money on a Tiny kid of a left back and returning him to being an ineffective winger was all rather a mess imo

I’m a big tella fan. He can cause team’s problems with his pace, the Brighton last season where he was involved in both jwp’s goals a case in point. Our current attacking options are so dire, it really should be a no brainer to recall him.

One position we actually have depth is one where we are linked with recalling a failed player or bringing in someone new. Absolutely crazy if true.

His post match interview seemed reasonable. Time will tell if he’ll be able to enact what he says he wants on our rabble.

Was concerned at the start spending that on a league 1 goalkeeper (even if he has promise). Probably needs taking out of the firing line if macca is fit and allowed cups to try and work on his game.

With our depth at cb we look like we should play 3 at the back. The problem is us being weak in cm and weak up front that i struggle to select 3 cm’s and 2 attackers from the assembled dross.

For me quality cm & striker looks essential. Bring back tella. Make do with perraud/kwp at lb. make do with McCarthy again unless Bazanu shows something in cup games.

A lower league team could at least close down as a unit. Basic laziness where a player closes down the man with the ball but none of his mates bother with other players so he can pass it to whoever he wants.

Would have preferred to avoid city. At least at qtr final stage you’d think we may be facing a second string team, which at least gives us a slight chance.

Curious what quality players we’ll be able to get in January. It is never a good time to be trying to fix fundamental issues.

Personally I think he’s a standard above much of our current options (with exception of Che) so I really would like him back. Send A.Armstrong on loan instead.

See he scored again last week but this week isn't involved at all. Anyone know if this is injury related or a sign he's being recalled?

Thought England played marginally better than France but just didn’t take their chances. Thought smart play on that 2nd pen would be to send it down the middle. also thought sterling sub was odd. Offered nothing, just jetted back in. Surely Maddison or Wilson would have been better options.
