Pathetic from united, just make it so easy for city to play by refusing to mark city players when they have possession. Sancho in particular looks a truly awful player.
-
United playing 5 at the back played into City's hands. Shaw seems to regularly go through spells where he looks very poor.
-
Was rewatching Armstrong's goal. Was that a golf ball being thrown from the crowd? Why?
-
Was hoping for at least 10 points from this run, so i'm happy. Just hope we end up on more after the Norwich game.
-
He was unlucky last week too with a first time effort that whistled wide.
-
With Livramento looking a bit off the pace yesterday, plus he's going away with england isn't he. I wonder if this might be a game to give him a rest and go with KWP and Perraud who should both be fresh after international break.
-
I thought Lyanco was fine yesterday. There was an instance where he tried to dive in and intercept in midfield and didn't quite get there. However, in a three i don't particularly mind him being aggressive and trying to intercept in that area of the pitch. The interesting thing to see is how he copes when part of a 2.

Hopefully Armstrong will get some minutes for Scotland and come back in better condition to contribute to Saints.
-
Great reaction too, bailing Salisu out for that second awful blind backpass to Watkins.
-
Feel at times attacking wise we're too keen to shift it out wide at the moment.
-
That was a lovely diving tackle by JWP in the first half to stop one of Villa's few attacks.
-
Yeah was shouting for Diallo constantly to come on because Elyounessi was very poor once we switched shape

cUnacceptable inconsistency and appalling standard of referees

The second fould could have been but equally you could argue Romeu had a foul after he was booked, so to i can see ref going final warning on hiim. However, that dive was exactly the reason the yellow card rule was brought in. Why have the rule if you aren't going to punish someone who blatantly cheats like that. -
I'll take these scrappy 1-0 nil wins but i'd like to see us nail a team or two this season.
-
Very happy with another win and another clean sheet. Lovely goal by Armstrong. I thought that second half display was awful. We seemed to think Villa were Man City or something.
-
El Ghazi shouldn't be on the pitch after 2 fouls and a dive imo. Lovely goal by Adam Armstrong. Disappointing for all our domination we've created very few chances. I'd love us to get the second as right now if feels like we are slightly fragile defensively. As good as Stu Armstrong was last season he's been poor today. Hopefully we can tella on for him. We need to start trying to target their left side more where el ghazi is on a booking and targett is weak.

The expected team with exception of redmond's unforseen absence. Would have preferred someone pacy in midfield such as Tella.
-
Maybe just me and my view of Spurs as essentially a mid table team temporarily elevated by Poch & kane but don't know why Conte would be interested in the Spurs job.
-
Perhaps we could bring in Tella for Mo and play him on the right.
-
Yeah i thought Fred was slightly lucky in the game vs Spurs. Committed the same cynical foul against 2 different players in the same move. Whilst very unusual i do remember seeing Chris Baird getting 2 yellows during an advantage.
-
Really hope we can go for the throat and heap more pressure on them rather than being the team that gift wraps them a recovery.
-
As Keegan would say 'i will love it if we beat them. Exactly the sort of team i want us to finish above and there's the added edge of that Cash handball last season and Danny's flight there this.
-
Redmond was good again today imo.
-
Kane doesn't really suit how nuno plays. Also lol that was a fab clearance by Davies to stop his teammate Romero scoring.
-
Just hope we can convince him to extend his contract.
