Ive been given £500 of John Lewis vouchers. Anyone need/want these for any reason? Would much prefer cash If you want them, theyre yours.... for £500 Sent from my GT-N5110 using Tapatalk

I dont know why, but £27000000 looks way more money thay £27M On that basis, think we should accept Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

if an offer has been tabled, then we should know very shortly (in the next day or so) whether he is staying or not. When we look for a new job, you would know well in advance of an offer coming in whether you would accept it... so long as X,Y,Z are met.

Good players leave clubs all the time, for varying reasons - both for the club and the player. It doesn't necessarily mean that the Club has a lack of ambition or are in financial difficulties. If a player wants to move on and "further their career" - so be it. Lallana has been a great servant to the club, and the club have repaid him with a good salary and making him Captain. If the club can get £30M+ and the player can get a good move, then go for it - move on.
-
Its a difficult one to play, for both the buying and selling clubs really. A player worth £27M now (reportedly) could be worth £30/35M+ after the world cup if he has a storming Tournament... meaning a theoretical loss of £3-£8M However, if he was to get an injury he could be out for >6 months or longer... I bet there will be at least 2/3 players that this happens to during the tournament... meaning a wasted (for the time being) £27M if bought.... or £27M lost revenue for the selling club if not sold prior to the WC.

shocking proof reading from the DE again, though: "It somehow just encapsulates the personality of the group, and Lallana Adam Leitch as its leader."

Thanks Whitey. It is exactly these scenarios that we want to avoid. As I mentioned in the OP, our friends are in exactly the same situation as us, 2 kids 2.5 and 5 months, and they are pregnant again with their 3rd...and having an abortion. It is the right decision for them for so many reasons, and it would be for us too, but we both know we couldn't make the decision to abort. We just couldn't. But we know it would be the right thing to do. My worry is that we would, subconsciously, grow to resent any 3rd kid in we were to fall again. It's all pointing to a vasectomy me thinks

Thanks for the comments everyone. Re age; I totally get what you are saying but we don't want another little one in the next 5 years (whereas we DID want 2 this close together) - and by the time our youngest is 5 we would be 35/36 - too old, and the Mrs will want to go back to work and think about getting her grown up life back. All that imo points to having the little fella seen to Not too keen on the Mellon sized gonad though Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk
