Anyone able to enlighten me as to some of the youngsters are progressing? I see Targett scored on Monday for England under 20's and alongside Reed played the full 90. Josh Sims featured for the England under 18's. Callum Slattery is meant to be the next big thing. Anyone know much about him? I also see a Marcus Barnes has scored 10 goals in 11 games. Turns 19 in December. No nothing about him.

Happy birthday Matt, I am also called Matt (great name) and expect the same for my birthday on 11/12/14. Thanks.

So no new injuries to our lads save for Morgan which was a knock and Davis. Pleased for Fonte. Clean sheet against the likes of Messi, Aguero and Higuain to name a few.

JANUARY - Who will go, Who will stay and Who will arrive?

Would be delighted if we sign Classie. A player who has brilliant creative passing vision playing in the centre. Would be an upgrade on Cork in all honesty. Quite a hefty one. -
I bought a Craighoppers fleece and One That Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest on Saturday. May god have mercy on us all.

Also the fact that the Court of Appeal has thrown his appeal out makes you think he is scrapping the barrell just a bit. I would trust the Court of Appeal's judgement over any red top media reports.

Well that's good then. Having read a bit the bloke comes across as a total helmet. Sheff Utd not doing themselves any favours either.
-
Awaits Forster to attempt a hand stand save resulting in a goal and broken hand.
-
Didn't realise this time last year we had also only let in 5 goals.
-
Don't know the full ins and outs of the case but I would certainly be upset if he ends up scoring against us in the Quarters.
-
Who cares anyway. If we have the best GD then lets enjoy it.
-
Forgetting that we've only conceded 5 goals this season.

Amazing!! Bloody working a night shift that night. May have to have explosive diarrhoea that particular evening.

All barring Arsenal away.

http://www.villatalk.com/index.php/topic/12265-pre-match-thread/page-2 I see most of them are not confident. Would be nice to have revenge on the 3-2 of last year.

So four huge games coming up which will be pivotal (love that word) to the rest of the season. Villa away - 0-2 win City home - 2-2 draw Arsenal away 2-0 loss Utd home - 2-1 win 7 points out of 12 available which I would be very much happy with. Your predictions?
-
We also have 4 more wins than Utd, Arsenal and Liverpool (who I see as our main contenders for 4th forgetting City). So based on my predictions they all need to win 18 in 27 games left which is league winning form. So any draws or wins against them will be huge. The City, Arsenal and Utd run in is absolutely massive for us.

I see we won 15 games last season and this season we've already won 8 so barring a huge U-turn in form we are well on course to better last years points tally. At a guess (having looked at last years table) 22 wins and 5-6 draws (71-72 points) may get the 4th spot based on the form of teams this year. So out of 27 games left (12 against last years top 7, 7 of which are at home) we would need another 14 wins and a few draws. Kind of shows what a huge ask it is. Who knows though?

I think poor old Lovren has an identity crisis. The c*cksucker!
-
And with there best player suspended you've gotta say......
-
Well the last 3 I've started we've won. Another win for me and clean sheet against a struggling team. Same team and a 1-0 stressful game with another Shane Long sub winner. Fixtures have been perfect for us. A win or even a draw would set us up perfectly for 3 massive games. Also the build up on MNF will be interesting to see how they analyse us. Come on you Reds!!!!!!!

Talk sport should be renamed the top 6 big clubs bum fest.
