The thought of Wolfsburg away is somewhat appealing. We would need more depth in the squad but I'm sure they already have planned for this if we do manage Europe. I personally think we'll get into the Europa via cup final or our league position. Is it 5th and 6th position?

I'd be happy with any of Wickham, Austin or Ings. English PL strikers though cost a few bob. Weren't we linked with that German player? Can't recall his name.

I have no doubt about FFs ability. Every keeper at every level makes the odd mistake. Do you think City fans will be writing off Hart because of some of his flaps at corners. But, I had the perfect view of the Aguero chance and he could have easily come out and cleared that way before Aguero got to the ball. Must have been worried about mis-timing it again or getting a red card. In the end I suppose it didn't make much difference. The save though was incredible mind you but could have been avoided with a routine Neuer sweep and punt.

Tadic should be banned from corners. He rarely beats the first man. Like ever.

Reckon we will improve on today's performance and Arsenal are not remotely near as good as City. Tough game still but with increasing pressure on Wenger to leave by their fans it could provide a nice distraction. Start well and put pressure on them and their fans will quickly become frustrated. 2-2 entertaining draw. How many are we taking up there?

Agreed with this thread. If our team had the spirit of some of the posters on this forum we'd plunge into relegation. City were excellent and there is no shame in losing to last years Champions with one of world footballs best strikers. My positive would be that we kept going even at 3 nil down and did not give up. We are still 3rd and in a quarter final.

Really believe this young chap can do as well as Chambers and Shaw. Great news if true. Been really impressed in his games against Arsenal and Stoke. Hope he starts against Sheff Utd.

I agree lets enjoy and relish the opportunity. We have nothing to lose which may work in our favour. The players will be totally up for this game and want to prove their the real deal. Absolutely buzzing for the next 3 games. Can't think of many who have been better than him this Month. The stand out fullback in the PL for me. Ultimate Team fans I would expect him in team of the week. That would be 4 players already! Long Wanyama and Tadic already been in the team of the week.

We need to start this game brightly at a high tempo and get at them in the first 15 mins. They will want to control the game at their pace which we must not let them do. Davis returning (someone mentioned on the other thread) is a huge boost. Really missed him on Monday. What a signing he was too by the way! Massive player for us these last two seasons.

Agreed it was dissappointing last night but Betrand has one hell of a decent cross on him as does Clyne. Didn't see enough of them getting towards the by-line and one of the few times they did we scored.

Was also hoping Aguero would get a knock in that! He can score a goal from anything. Still fancy taking something from the game. Wanyama and Morgan will need to do a lot of protecting of the back 4.

Unless the rumours of Classie are true in which case would be excellent. Need a midfielder who can link the final third play quicker.

He's been a very decent signing so far. At times he can do poor things such as that shot/cross thing last night which made me laugh in all honesty. His pace on the flank adds another attacking option different to the others.

We missed him as an option today. We have great CDM but not so many CAM options.

Anyone able to enlighten me as to some of the youngsters are progressing? I see Targett scored on Monday for England under 20's and alongside Reed played the full 90. Josh Sims featured for the England under 18's. Callum Slattery is meant to be the next big thing. Anyone know much about him? I also see a Marcus Barnes has scored 10 goals in 11 games. Turns 19 in December. No nothing about him.

So no new injuries to our lads save for Morgan which was a knock and Davis. Pleased for Fonte. Clean sheet against the likes of Messi, Aguero and Higuain to name a few.

Would be delighted if we sign Classie. A player who has brilliant creative passing vision playing in the centre. Would be an upgrade on Cork in all honesty. Quite a hefty one.
