I like Leicester and hope they do well this season but with all due respect to them we are firing on all cylinders and couldn't be playing a better team at home as they are not scoring and losing games. I'll give a good reception to Pearson and the opposite to that smug little skate Nugent.

Totally disagree. Seems to give confidence to the defence and has made some important saves in games. Granted he has made probably two or three dodgy punches/catches but every keeper will make some errors.

Also I make that 8 goals from our central midfield in 10 games. Would bet that is better than the whole midfield goals combined last season? Goals across the team + solid defence + squad depth = awesomeness Cloud nine this season so far. After Leicester and Villa we are nearly a third way through the season and could have anywhere between 22-28 points on the board.

YES! Can it get any better?!?!? What a week. Tired performance but well defender and grinded the result out. Weeks rest and onto Leicester!

Seeing as the last two thread I've started we've done well. Their star man Ramirez can't play (thank the football god). Same team that started against Stoke away. Tough game and would take a point.

His dad died not so long ago. For a young lad that must be extremely difficult. Most decent dads are key to the development of young footballers and the ones who provide the encouragement etc.

Whoever was responsible for not signing a forward. They are a bit of a joke club right now.

What a 5 years it's been. There haven't been many better teams to support in England the last 5 years. It's been majestic.

Villa really look awful. Two teams who will be in the bottom 6. Only player who looks half decent in this game is Sanchez.

Another gem. He, Pelle and Tadic have been wonderful signings. He's so entertainingly unpredictable. Must be a real handful for defenders. Finally we have the pacey player we should have signed yonks ago.

Would bring in Gardos, Long and Wanyama but not sure who I'd rest. Could see this one going to extra time (hope not). Important game this! How many fans are we taking up?

Watching them now. This will be our hardest home game of the season so far. They maintain that ugly style under Hughes too hence big Vic in the team for me.

Thought he did very well. He literally wins every header too, huge leap. That cross he put in was brilliant. Think we'll see him and Pelle develop my understanding of each other's games. If Pelle gets an injury (god forbid) he will also be useful to play in the middle.

Bring in Wanyama. Felt he gave us good balance when he came on. Plus this will be a more physical affair. 9-0 for me.

Firstly not getting carried away. The City, Arsenal and Utd games in December will be a big indicator, but if we get through those games and the big man Pelle keeps scoring then why not? We have very good squad depth unlike last year too and JRod back hopefully by mid December. We can genuinely put up a real challenge for 5th to 8th in my opinion. Your wisdom and thoughts?

I would disagree. He's probably our best midfielder for linking play with the front 3 and keeping the tempo up. All in my opinion of course.
