I agree. I think it should have been Chambers not Morgan being told they need to stay. If he can play well in CB then it would have been somewhat useful to have him now!

If we sign a CB before the game (which looks more than likely) is that not all the key departures replaced? Lallana/Tadic, Shaw/Bertrand, Lambert/Pelle, Lovren/new CB. Not including Chambers as we have Clyne.

I really think we are going to cause an upset in this game. Liverpool are gonna be hyped up and feel the pressure whereas I'd like to think our squad has something to prove to the doubters. 0-1 with a later debut goal from whoever our new CB is.

Arsenal and Stoke away? Obviously any keeper can make mistakes and Forster could have some howlers in him but the two Boruc made were inexcuseable. Not to mention his kicking is woeful. He's still a good PL keeper but I think the time is write to introduce some competition.

Well that word is a known derogatory term whereas Argie is not. Anyway I am of the 'think Gaston will perform this season' brigade. But I have been for the last two years. I always felt Poch didn't like him. He played better under Adkins IMO. Fair play to him for appearing to want to stay as he could justify wanting to leave way more than the others.

This will be a great signing. Only 26 and lots of CL experience. As much as I love Boruc he is getting on and made some awful mistakes last season. I'm sure Boruc will stay as well for the competition.
