  1. http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2012/05/26/3126911/cole-foster-and-cox-the-players-west-brom-wigan-reading? Proves how turd goal.com is. Mentions all our links (Jay Rod to Jarvis) then says our budget is likely to be 5m.
  2. Liverpool -v- Manchester City.
  3. I can see Dalglish maybe going to Villa now. As for Adkins. No chance. A club as big as Liverpool would never take a risk like that.
  4. How could I forget Davis against Leeds! Ok top 3 performances as Davis is likely to dominate! And I agree about Cork, he changed the game againdt Coventry.
  5. If any neutral saw this thread they would think we're a right bunch of psycho's.
  6. As we all know Kenwyne Jones was rubbish for us barring one decent season. Since then he has done absolutely feck all. Hideously hideously overrated player with a huge ego.
  7. Rhodes would be a great addition (only if the price is right). We need a future player to fill Lamberts boots ie. a CF. He fits the mold for me.
  8. Yes I'm bored but what would you consider as your individual performance by a player this season. I'm torn between Chaplow against Boro or Lambert against Brighton (home). I'm sure there are many more I'm missing. I'm going for Lambert at home against little old Brighton.
  9. To be fair with Defoe maybe he wants a new challenge. If he goes to somewhere like Liverpool then he risks being a bench warmer again as Suarez will play ahead of him. Wages are going to be the biggest stumbling block. He is a world class finisher too.
  10. Why would he stay there prior to playing for Spurs the next day.
  11. We would never adopt QPR's transfer policy under Cortese and Adkins.
  12. If the fee was reasonable would you rather Rhodes or Jay Rod? Tough choice. As for Defoe he is a class finisher, can't see him going to Reading though (wages++). He'll go to Liverpool I think. I wouldn't call him a troublesome player either, there is nothing to suggest he is that sort of player and in fact he interview very well and seems professional.
  13. He's quick, good with his head, scores all kinds of different goals, can hold the ball up well, would be an ideal future replacement for Lambert as our CF. Agreed it would be a risk as he is unproven at a higher level. Pilkington didn't do too badly either from league one though in the PL. 38 goals is a ridiculous too and we know league one is no walk in the park. Sadly (but understandably from a Huddersfield perspective) they'll want big money for him, I think around the 7-8 million mark.
  14. Rhodes scores again. He really is a class act, would love to sign him. He's a future star in the making.
  15. Do teams have a 3rd kit in the Prem?

    Away Kit

What colour shirt for next season? I love the current yellow kit but a return of the white away kit would be welcomed.
  17. Whislt it'll never happen in a million yeats it is certainly nice to see Lambert and Davis getting some recognition. They'll be two absolutely vital players next season. The only way Lambert will get a call up from Hodgson is if he sets the PL alight next season....... Watch this space.
  18. Well given that Brum are entering financial disaster I wouldn't rule it out. Maybe a lower mid-table team. Or Coventry or someone.
  19. So who of our promising bunch will be on the 7 man bench or loaned out to Championship / League One club? Nigel did recently say that he would want to include 5 youth team players in the squad next season. I think Ward-Prowse will go on a 3 month to one of the Championship teams. Maybe somewhere like Birmingham or Derby. Then with some experience he might make the bench (if his loan has gone well of course) for the remainding PL campaign. Not sure about Shaw, Stephens and Chambers but maybe they'll go out on loan too. Anyone seen them play reguarly to have a better idea of their development?
  20. Leeds away and Millwall away were the defining moments for me. We weren't particularly great and managed to get 6 points. Teams that can do that often do well. I wonder what the defining moment of next season could be. A late Lambert bullet header at Old Trafford away perhaps?
  21. Zigic and King look extremely average. Its actually hilarious how frightened of Brum we were at one stage.
  22. Bogdan has made some absolute howlers this season.
