  1. Paraphrased what you put
  2. Trying that predictor I got the following teams relegated: Stoke, West Brom, and saints. Survival threshold was 34/35 points depending on gd.
  3. nah, that would still be a zero pointer under my prediction criteria. Embarrassing though
  4. Which is my point Wade... If he wasn't sacked after Palace / Leicester / (insert other), then no way is he going to get sacked after Liverpool.
  5. Its too late to be messing around now. We have improved in recent weeks, have to hope that we continue to net benefit out of the teams around us. If we do we'll stay up. After Hoedt's mistake, yesterday was always a loss.
  6. So I have updated the table with actual points returns vs predicted. Maybe I was naive to allow for 5 points from the past 3 games, but either way... we are now sightly under-performing against what was a fairly conservative points estimate in the first place. Give then teams around us are frequently beating mid table and upper table teams, I really struggle to see how 35points will be sufficient. I guess we just need to ensure we take points off of our direct rivals.
  7. Good lord, if we are paying more than clubs like Newcastle, Swansea, West Brom and Stoke, then we really will be in trouble if we get relegated. The miss management of the club is shocking at the moment. Too much control in the hands of a very average DoF...
  8. He isn't going to get sacked for losing to Liverpool. Get real.
  9. I didn't renew after Puel. Wasn't prepared to watch his crap another season. The football is better now... just.... but the board take the micky from the fans. No way am I paying to be mugged off by reed and co.

So what, here we go again?
  11. If we go down, and it brings about the demise of LR, RK, Gao etc, then that is a good thing. Only silver lining i can see.
  12. Its more that Liverpool cannot afford to lose to us
  13. Crazy league, have to beat Liverpool now...
  14. Which is it, he was offered more than he was on at Arsenal, or Everton outbid us? I would also ask why this wasn't agreed on 1st January. Pure dithering. Simple fact is that despite being flush with cash, we refuse time and again to pay market value. The End.
  15. Calling BS.
  16. I absolutely hope you're right. That table is just a conservative baseline. If we are going to stay up we will outperform it imo. It will be a lot clearer after another couple of matches anyway. After the win against west brom, getting results at Burnley and Leicester certainly seems to be more likely... but that could equally just be another false dawn!!
  17. I'll say one thing. We'll beat WBA in the cup.
  18. Well, as happy as we all feel after WBA, we're still on course for the 36 points i predicted as a base line. The simple fact is that we'll either beat my predictions (and stay up), match then (squeaky bum time), or do worse (certain relegation).
  19. A crucial win, managed to miss most of it bar the two goals in the first half, and the last 5 minutes!! Family! I think i've missed most of the stress and got the enjoyment of the result!
  20. That article seriously worries me. The whole clubs seems so arrogant at the moment, almost oblivious to how **** we actually are!!!
  21. Firstly, this is slightly selective as it forgets the summer of discontent. Secondly. you've done it now... Don't you understand? It was all Cortese's fault!! We never had one of the lowest wage structures in the league, lowest agent spends, and this never coincided with rocketing tv money's.... We were skint, massively out of our depth and on the precipice too financial ruin. Les and Ralph were forced to step in and save us... by destroying the legacy of the promotion seasons (whilst conveniently taking the credit for our rise - whilst blaming cortese for everything bad). They sold our stars, sold our kids, lost our managers... and totally destroyed the fans connection to the team. And despite all this, they arrogantly shouted from the rooftops about how amazing we (they) were, how we were better than the leicesters and swanseas of this world (both won trophies I might add)... and still.... the Reedists in the fabnase would lambust anyone who raised their voice in concern. So, you get what we have now, just far far far too late for the fans to do anything about it. Of course, that could all be hore****e and we are in fact on the edge of financial ruin and demotion.

    Any managers?
  23. In truth, my doubts were solidified following palace. But since the board were obviously not going to sack him I let myself believe he had promise. With that in mind, I would have sacked him during the Brighton game. Maybe on reading the line up, and certainly at half time. Any one of us could have managed a better result than he did last night.
  24. Cortese was 100% ousted from the club. Everyone agrees with that. Once you accept this, you need to look at why, and at people's agendas. Case 1 - We really were financially in trouble... and that was the reason we were given for the multiple seasons of negative net spend... Case 2 - KL didn't want her money spent and instead decided to begin the process of cashing in. Additionally - What was LR's involvement? And if he had none, why the massive PR drive to blame and discredit NC, and to take credit for everything that came before? Case 1 - is plausible, but completley ignores the continued seasons of massive tv and prize revenues, and ignores the continued net transfer takes we are seeing even after we've "financially balanced" the books. So I'm going to call hokum. Case 2 - She sold us down the swanny - lets be honest, this seems pretty obvious? Anyone care to argue that she hasn't?
  25. I can't bring myself to say that we may not win another league game before the championship. Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
