That is a bit harsh on player like PEH, JWP, Romeu, Long. All of which tried tonight. And tbf, Tadic and Bertrand also tried tonight. Our defence isn't strong enough, and we aren't attacking with enough determination or tempo. Manager is to blame for that. I'll judge him on whether Les Reed and co are here at the start of next season. Even if his intentions are good, I think he has an awful lot on his plate for someone so inexperienced.

I don't know. I'm being serious with this next sentence. Does he just have too much power combined with going senile? This deal with his son's agency stinks though, and given that, it is hard to keep ignoring the rumours that he gets bonuses depending on financial performance and player trading. But none of that makes sense from the point of view that his superiors must surely judge our current performance as unacceptable?!?! and if they don't why the hell not!! Gao must be quite concerned, if we get relegated he can get his money back sure (won't be pretty for us fans), but he must have invested in us to actually make lots of money... Not this ****fest we're in now.

I said it in the damn match thread. The switch to 4-4-2 was made far to early. We had them where we wanted them and just needed the big man to unsettle their defence. Did we use him for that when he came on... no! We just hoofed it long and hoped he'd win some flick ons. Its almost like the manager is trying to get paid off....

The manager sets out his teams to not lose first and foremost. He is afraid of every situation except when he is already losing. We simply won't win any games like this. Meanwhile swansea are beating liverpool etc.

Plus we went 4-4-2 and played through the middle. Why in gods name did he not just straight swap him for Long and maintain the formation. We were all over them in that first half. Our bloody DM's were getting 30seconds to think about shooting on the edge of the D ffs.

I have consistently posted about Les and the board. Pretty much since Lambert left. Possibly before. Man is a snake, lies to the fans, uses media contacts and PR to spin everything the way he wants... took full credit for what came before him, fell out with Poch and Koeman, every player that ever left saints was, "a bad un", and lets not forget his fabled interviews right before the bad news hits. He has mismanaged us straight into a relegation battle. Well, if he wanted all the credit for the "Southamton way", i'll certainly shovel him the tonnes of **** he's got coming.

He tried hard. Probably needs a bit of time to get up to speed with the league and the physicality. Not sure what it means for Sam Gallagher though (but that is no slight on carillo. At worst, he is a target man version of shane long.

He is 200% worse than Lowe. Lowe's legacy is the stadium and academy. Les' legacy is flogging the best team since the 80's, and taking us from just off champions league to near relegation in 18months. How the hell can you still have Lowe above him?!?!
