Has anyone watched the Bilbao man it'd match. They are hammering them more than Barcelona did. Insanely good. They remind me of us, or where I want us to be. More pressing. Fluid play. I truly hope that atkins watches this game and shows it to the lads every day. They have utterly dicked utd, mist be more possession. Than the Barcelona. Man utd have barely managed 3 passes. And they are brilliant to watch. They are the only team in red and white that I care to knowledge. And every player is a local for them. Beasts! 20 year olds literally smashing the crap put of utd! And doing it in style! Atkins - watch. Also their fans. The atmosphere... every stand singing and swing scarves... would love to see st mary's like that all the time. I hope this is the saints vision we hear so much about!

If ever you needed proof about the amount of opinionated crap that some of this lot post - it be here!

It worries me that we have the lowest ranked average, becuase I think we have a damn tuff run in. Its good research but i feel there is a great deal to much confidence flowing around the place. For example, Milwall. Well, we've tried to beat them several times this season.... not doing to well against a club in their position. Hull Away, I don't think so and blackpool away, another tough game. Also those matches are in quick succession, and involve long journeys. We will be leffy as we are so many times this season - example would be leeds, and regardless of the fact that we won, we were also played off the park. Also the games against Boro and Reading will be very very tough. If we want to win the league we will damn well earn it. But I really think this is going to be a total scrap and there will be alot of place switching. However, if we make it past blackpool in frist place you would have to fancy us. And lets be honest, it would be nice to win a worthwhile trophy for once - This has to be our best chance for a while!!! Final thoughts. Other teams seem to assume that when the pressure arrives, we will crack. Well i think this is a mistake. The pressure has allready got to West Ham, and readings mentality will now be tested. Are they chasing us for 1st or were they going for top 2? Are they now under pressure or is it still just a chase for them? They all underestimate us however, we had it tough last season when chasing huddersfield so there can, and should be, no doubts over our mental strength!! Come on you reds!!!

Hope Donny can keep this up, perfect result for us to be honest!!!! Up the Dons!!

I don't get this issue with the Japs supporting Lee. I think its brilliant to be honest, putting Saints where I want them to be, on television, being shown as a welcoming and diverse club where the fans have a great time and the team play great footy..... If you go against that image then please, West Ham is only 2 hours away, you can go pay a nminimum of £32 to watch that ****e, and by being miserable you'll fit in a-okay!

Get in, surprised there were any tickets left but I've got one!!! It's going to be the last derby game for a very long time so I'm going to bloody well enjoy it!!!

Oh an other other event, invaiding the pitch at Bashley (in a pre seasons friendly) at half time with a kick about with a load of other kids, before getting chucked off by stewards HaHa, that was a great laugh!! And playing on the pitch at the dell at half time!! great days!

Good thread!! 25 - Now Bristol, but formerly Souhampton and Salisbury. First game was when my dad took me to the Dell to watch the Saints vs Arsenal 1-0 win, not sure of the year but would guess 94/95 season? Can't be fussed to look it up. Memmorable moments would be the JPT final at Wembley and staying up at home on the last game of the season. I aslo think I got very upset as a wee boy when we lost away to stockport in one of the cups

I just looked at west ham's fixture list and I honestly feel they are going to get more points out of them that we will. we have some very tough ties such as blackpool and hull away and reading at home. A point tonight wasn't a total disaster but it is definetly 2 points down the drain and we really can#t afford to do that another 2 times this season. It is going to be tense and starting to get worried. Also, West Ham have 2 **** easy games coming up, they will be clear and we all saw the advantage that gave brighton last season.

ah damn, nearly 1-0!!!!

are what, and i was hoping they would have laid them off by now :/

I was thinking (and it is very childish so may or may not appeal)..... Shall we occupy a portsmouth forum - strat a post and keep it going, something along the lines of how they are going down with no money in the bank, their fans are all illiterate inbreds, crap fanbase - throw some stats at them etc etc etc, I don't want them to go out of business but I aslo want to take the urination as much as possible after all we owe them a few years of this. But with enough of us, we can probably out voice them out on one of their own forums? Anyone in and any suggestions of the forum to hit?

Great Photo! Listened to Mr merry and I get the impression that he likes Lee!! Great set of results for us today. of pm;y every day could be like this eh

Can I just say that alex was superb, we all knew that, everytime we watched him play he stood out. Whether he is grateful or not, it is not for his dad to say. Let him say it himself in the years to come. Walcott at least loves the saints, just look at his autobiography (granted it is a short read ^_^) - and his contract is up soon?
-
Does anyone know how many season tickets holders we have?
-
Well we've lost, as usual adkins doesn't have a clue on how to penetrate. ideal world i would want to have an inform chappers on in the middle for corkpedo, lallana and puncheon left and right, push up and go at them, who cares if we loose? aladyce is showing his good use of the substitue to waste time. If we loose this it is all adkins, we are in it together but he needs to start learning, not playing it through the middle....
-
Not likely since we can't even manage 3 passes, it will be that is tired. They are playing very well, we are still in Hampshire. Might stop listening and get on with the dissertation :/ beginning to think it may be a better use of my evening

To look with a sidelong glance, indicative especially of sly and malicious intent.... same goes to charming man, where is the lack of english? And you are blind if you go to sms and don't see racism. Its there, must be a sign of the times, because 3-4 years ago it wasn't an issue.

I truly hate this side of the game. And if I had been there I would have literally stood up, shouted what “was that **** head,” and then started an argument with him until the stewards sorted it out. But then I would have videoed the whole thing and my girlfriend is Sri Lankan and I literally can’t stand it for that reason. To be honest with you it really ****es me off that we still have this element to the fans. Its one thing to get girlfriends involved in the game, let alone saints (league 1 etc) but when I take my girlfriend down there and she gets leered at by certain sections of the drunkard racist fans (few and far between but still there) then it is nigh on impossible. And certain people on here thinking that shouting banana at an injured black man isn’t racist should get a ban to be honest. That view is quite literally a disgrace.

Well, he basically set up the first goal..... You may not like him, which is fair enough, but don't criticize him incorrectly. He was good yesterday. He does have some bad games, but then at the end of the day he is a long way from home, and he's clearly a sensitive chap, 10 goals and a fair few assists would make him worthy of a place in any starting 11 tbh. An he is good in midfield.
-
Great result by the team! I sense this is the beginning of us winning the league! Am i the only one who likes Guly btw? He's great as a fantastic player, I mean just look at his goal tally!! But people seem to want him to be this all round hero who is a fantastic centre half to boot? Don't think its fair criticism of the lad, but everyone is allowed the opinion i suppose. Sounded promising from Lambert and Sharpedo as well!
-
********, 10 man west ham are better than us :/ poor result and I don't care what others say. That was a winnable game and we had the chance to reach the quarters in the FA Cup. We are going to tumble into play-offs for sure at this rate.

Sour mash, it literaly disgusts me that you are a fellow saints fan? I assume you are, although you seem to enjoy criticising the club and our fans more than supporting them. You clearly know less than nothing about the DB situation as shown by the ignorance of your posts, all of which are aggressive rather than containing an argument and I agree entirely with minsk. I'll also go one better... please save us all reading time and effort by not replying to either mine or minsk posts again? As for the game, I fancy a strong starting squard, lambert and lee up front, martine and fonte at the back and lallana on the bench, starts for puncheon and holmes maybe? I suspect Hammond will also start.
