  1. Agree generally with your post. Bold seems particularly poignant. As I eluded to above, such lows and such highs, such fun.
  2. Is it awful I think it is kinda LOLs? Obviously I'd be fuming if it was say, P***ey doing it, against Saints. But still pretty funny.
  3. Reminds of that recent thread about best side to support in recent years (or along those lines at least). There's arguments that such a claim is hyperbolic. But it has been one hell of a roller coaster ride. Granted I'm probably biased, but I have loved it, and would not trade it for any other clubs last 5 years (yeah, I'm definitely biased when I think about it).
  4. Was this on sky? Seem to remember this? Was it double-barrell fat boy that got the winner? Seem to recall knowing then we were going down, and accepting we were never going to be a prem side again. Half right at least.
  5. Can't decide if I should be ashamed, or if they should go into the "guilty pleasures" category but I really really like the new Summer Camp album. Quite poppy, but thoroughly enjoyable nonetheless. Once bumped into them at a gig, and they were very nice too, which never hurts.
  6. I'm a massive (almost slightly obsessive) Arctics fan, and have to say I was a little underwhelmed if I am honest. I can't put my finger on why, I don't mind it's a bit different. I just think, by their very high standards, they are middling a bit I guess. Also, the 3 best tracks were released prior to the album coming out, which is disappointing - kinda like when all the best bits from when a comedy film are in the adverts (most comedies), one was even released the best part of 18 months ago. Maybe it will grow on me more, but I think Humbug & Suck it and See are still my faves.
  7. There couldn't possibly be more than one Arcade Fire fan?
  8. ssssshh
  9. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHhhh
  10. Look, you horrible bunch of muppets, you are are lols, but shut up a minute: :adore:
  11. Guess metaphors are lost on you Bearsy?
  12. Yup, and other deaths. Like Haiti, where her cousins were killed in a massacre.
  13. Isn't the track to which I assume you referring about her Mum, that died?
  14. Uff, and a double post
  15. FFS, I'm having a mare recently. It's becuase I'm such a massive racist.

  17. You are actually obsessed.
  18. I honestly can't answer that. As I have said many times on here, it is an extremely difficult solution - muddied by the fact that neither side is exactly angelic in their actions. I'm also not privy to all the information which the decision makers are. I'm not mad keen for Britain to get involved in another conflict, but as I have also said several times, I am extremely uncomfortable at us simply standing by and saying it is none of our concern. Their are people a lot smarter, and a lot more qualified than I to work out a game-plan.
  19. It is entirely possible for doing nothing and doing the wrong thing to be one and the same.
  20. Yeah, true. Sprawl II is one of my favourite all time songs. It's just incredible. I'm so in love Reginé.
  21. These are the things that I seriously worry about.
  22. Sorry, I wasn't insinuating that at all. I have previously posted things along a similar line on this thread. It breaks my heart seeing what is happening to all the kids out there, I simply can't watch the news at the minute - as I find myself just too upset by it (ok I am a bit wet). I think it is an extremely difficult scenario to get involved in (one which probably would have been much easier if action was taken earlier on before the rebels were hijacked by terrorist groups - which many undoubtedly have been), but I can't bare the thought of simply sitting idly by and saying well, it's over there in the middle-east, it ent my problem. It's a silly viewpoint on political and humanitarian grounds. The idea that such a conflict has no bearing on us simply because it isn't in our country or on our doorstep is at best naive, or that why should we be bothered - simply because we were lucky enough to be born in a wonderful country (I know it's easy to knock the UK for it's flaws, which it undoubtedly has - but I really wouldn't trade it for many places, and I'm sure millions, if not billions would love to live here) where we don't have to suffer such barbaric acts and events I find simply heartless. Black, white, muslim, christian, gay, straight, male, female and all other permutations - we are all humans.
  23. Top effort! I'm on 5, me and my mum always try to get down when he is in town.
  24. I really love the dancey-disco-y aspects of it. But I do think if the entire album was in that vein I would be a little disappointed. I want some proper Arcade epics please!!
