I noticed this during my short trip to Dubai earlier this year. Why is it of all the things they have done so well, they cannot manage service? We went every as a company - meaning there was pretty much always a 500 strong group. Yet everywhere we went (obviously we had booked way in advance) would have 1/2 people serving the entire group. Absolute pain in the rear.

Nah no support, they were on for best part of 3 hours. Finished just before 11.

Sooooooooooooo, Fleetwood Mac t'other night. What can I say? They really have still got it, in spades. Lindsey Buckingham is still incredible, I swear his fingers are plectrums. Big Love was stunning. Landslide was beautiful, I definitely was nowhere near tears. Absolutely not, honest. And all the other classics were brilliant, The Chain, Don't Stop, Never Going Back, Tusk, and Go Your Own Way - WOW! Even the new track Sad Angel was really good. ONLY downer, was the boring fu©knut$ that moaned at me for standing up and dancing during the 2nd song (The Chain FFS!!!!) - probably lucky to not get punched when I said to the woman rather aggressively screaming and trying to push me into my seat "Calm down Billy Idol" (she had very short spiky blonde hair), at which point her fella told me turn around and leave them alone - as if I had engaged them in the first place! Why would you pay the best part of £100 to sit down and moan and people dancing at a Fleetwood Mac gig - especially during The Chain?! There really are some idiots out there. Especially seeing as way over 3/4s of the arena were standing at their seats. Rant over, and it's not really the bands fault, just a bit annoying. I stood up and danced the whole show anyway.

I saw The Lightning Seeds at Glasto a few years ago. It was really great fun, you're in for a good'un!

I agree with all your post, but it makes me laugh how some of the usual suspects that love a moan about "the committee" and our transfer activity have all hailed these three clubs and said we should be more like them. As I said in the summer, some of these people appear to just want us to sign people for the sake of us signing people. Regardless of quality, or the effect it may have on a well balanced squad.

Generally I would agree, but there seems to have been a shift back to prioritising defence this season so far. I could be wrong, and I havn't got figures to hand so it's more a "how it feels" comment, but there seem to be a lot less goals being scored at the moment. Games seem more dull. We have definitely shored up at the back, which is what most of us (myself very much included) were crying out for for the large part of last season. Clearly it means we are going to be much harder to beat, and also means we are going to stay in more games for longer. Did someone post an article that we currently have one of the best defences in the europe at the moment on another thread? The thing I find most strange about this general shift in the league is that it has coincided with Jose's return. The man who, in my opinion, was largely responsible for the shift to the more defensive tactics that followed for a few years after his arrival, and the widespread adoption of 4-3-3/4-5-1.

Guy in the office is a Reading fan. He reckons a lot of the hold up is over dates. Loans can only be for 3 months outside the Transfer Window, so they want to make sure he is available for the xmas fixtures, apparently - so may happen later in the week. This is according to their version of TSW he frequents. So could be complete rubbish, like a lot of the stuff on here.

Cliche as it is, you can only beat what's infront of you. If you start re-writing history, it can get very silly very quickly. We'd have beat WBA 2-0 if Lallana's goal hadn't been offside, Norwich if we got that penalty we might have won (or at least drawn), if Osvaldo didn't hit it straight at Jussi or Rickie hit the post we'd have beat WHAM and be top of the league etc etc etc.

The vultures already started circling on big vic. Lallana and J-Rod are never too far from a good kicking on here either.

Didn't Eavis say all the headliners haven't played before? Pretty sure Arcade Fire have played, but not headlined of course. Would love it if they did of course. And I'd be pretty up for the Mac.
