Am I the only one seriously worried about the possible, wider-reaching effect of all this? Am I being naive in the extreme/a bit wet, thinking this could scale up in to a full on war involving several big hitters?

The ceremony didn't do it for my friend. Just some of the performances. Seeing how hard these people work, for next to no money, very little monetary gain for themselves. Such passion and dedication. My friend just found it amazing. Don't even get my friend started on the Paralympics. They were constantly in bits. My friend is a bit soft.

Reports vary, but some suggest that whilst numbers dipped, revenue was pretty flat as those that did come spent more than average. Public sector wages and the Olympics don't have a huge bearing on each other. There are plenty of other black holes in the public coffers that swallow up much more funds with far less return.

Lol, you're such a happy go lucky guy Manji. I wasn't actually aware of this, I didn't know too much about them, but the ticket was free and I like the 100 Club. Even if they are manufactured, they really can play and for a bunch of kids they are very entertaining. Unlike the average x-factor act, these kids are pretty darn talented.
