  1. I really like it too! so full of energy, mad to think he's only about 6 years younger than johnny cash when he did hurt.
  2. Who is this Bearsy character? I seem to have no recollection of him so whatsoever?
  3. Apparently I am too.
  4. :cry::cry:
  5. I know he wasn't the greatest player, but I really liked Papa.
  6. Seems pretty fair to me in all honesty.
  7. Some may disagree with me on this one, but should Danny Mills (19 Caps!) also be on that list?
  8. My bad, edited.
  9. :adore::adore: Markus, not me of course.
  10. It's not mine. But it's probably my favourite, especially now:
  11. I think the problem is, none of us have seen anything at all from him really. Mostly, due to a lack of playing time. Does seem an odd one.
  12. I like woy, but lets face it, this is what should be expected of him. His only real 'successes' have come at middling teams, that look to frustrate and nick the odd goal/point. Put him somewhere where the initiative to take e game and attack the opposition, and he struggles. Summarised by his interview, that we did well to draw and we unlucky to not win. We were unlucky not to lose. With The population, financial, infrastructure and various other advantages England hav, there is no way we should escape with a draw. I still can't believe it took him so long to change things, it was clear to see we were getting hammered second half. Fair play to them, second half they made changes which worked, played well, got at us and created chances. They were unlucky not to win imo.
  13. It's basically the same as his 'I hate the prem, would rather we were in the champ', but I'll still throw a wobbler if we don't win and are in the relegation zone.
  14. I hate the Inbetweeners more than I hate lefties.
  15. We still fwends paps?
  16. He'd go up massively in my opinion if he did say that.
  17. Hard to say really, as I was 14 ten years ago. But living/working in London, I struggle to see how I am ever going to buy my own place. Looking to move out of the rents again (had to move back in a couple of years ago due to ill-health/finances), and it's just so expensive! Will have no life whatsoever after tax/rent/bills/food etc. The gf is a Doctor though, so probs just need to tie her down sharpish, am trying to push her towards plastic surgery. I'm a modern man, I could handle being kept me thinks.
  18. 14 interwebs years = 1000 irl years. That's good going. Wouldn't expect any change soon.
  19. Ok true, it is unfair to paint 'the left' as one. I'll accept that. There are of course various differing groups/factions on the left, and yes I was talking in general terms. My team? Seriously, I do not count messers Cameron/Osborne my team. In fact, I find it hard to see much difference in any politician, either side of the house. When you stand, and seriously put forward actual change to the system, I will be on that team. Perhaps with differing views on the way to achieve this, but hey. That's how it goes. Despite this, I am a pragmatist, and would still like to see smaller changes that can improve the currently entrenched system work better for more. c'mon Papman, we're friends really. Hug it out?
  20. Sorry sir.
  21. Yup, Lambert signed a contract recently. This is what players do when they want to move away.
  22. Yeah, even if he does predict Chelsea to win, is that really unfair? They are challenging for Champions League places, we are fighting in a relegation battle. To most people trying to make a prediction (that aren't Saints supporters), looking at this game, they probably are going to go for a Chelsea win. In fairness, I would also be inclined to predict a Chelsea win. They are a good team, and even if they rest good players, it's not as if poor players are going to come in in their places. It's hardly going to be a big surprise if Chelsea were to win. That said, I don't see why we can't get something from the game. And remain hopeful of a result (I'd take a draw if offered).
  23. Fantastic news! Much more convenient, I only live 20 mins or so away from Wembley! Cheers for the heads up mate.
  24. So if you agree with something that gets said all the time, it's because it's true. If it is something you disagree with it's a fallacy? Slight hypocrisy there pal. What am I accepting as a point of truth? I am fully aware of what is going on, and the way things are run. The reason I worked for so many varied people was to see first hand how things work, and be able to form an opinion of my own, from what I have seen and learned - by very definition sir, this is informed. Again, if you don't like what I say, fine. But by dismissing my experience and knowledge, merely proves my initial point. Can you not see the hypocrisy in you accusing me of insulting your intelligence, despite you first calling the right stupid, and then saying the things I have seen and learnt first hand are irrelevant? If I had no knowledge of these things other than what I had seen on the tele/read in the papers yet was sat agreeing with you, would you still be calling me ill-informed. The above was only a criticism of the left, trust me, I can write just as much on the right. I don't argue that vested interests strangle power, and manipulate it for itself. Show me where I have said as such? Large sections of the left are just as guilty of this as the rest of the political spectrum. It just really gets my goat the way lefties run around claiming to be some higher beings, sneering at the rest of the world. Whilst simultaneously claiming they are the enlightened ones, with all the answers, when what they subscribe to inevitably leads to exactly the same thing. I am perfectly aware that there is nothing in Marxist literature about brutalising & killing millions of people. The same way any religious teachings wouldn't, but it happens. Yes the system is broken, and you can sit in your ivory tower, clinging to fantasist lefty-ideals that don't work in the real world sneering at anyone that has the temerity to disagree with you. But left, right, centre, they are all as culpable as each other.
  25. Sacked for something he did after being sacked?
