It was just a question. For ME I dont care at all as I think a lot of english players are extremely overrated so personally I´m happy with that. Just a thought since CB in PL is probably one of the toughest positions to play for players coming from other countries and perhaps not used to the type of game played there.

If this one becomes reality. Are we the only team without an english/british CB from the teams first 4 choices?

And one more thing. I think a draw is the worst result as I think extra midweek games can cost us in the league...

For me the setup for this game is totally different to the League Cup one cause it´s a week to the next game, the players have had 5 days since the last game. In the League Cup the game came only on a two days rest. We wouldn´t take a chance with players that are not 100% fit but we´ll put a strong side out there. And it is also a home game, you treat those Cup games different to away ties.

Well of course, in THAT case when Lawro (he wont be going to Southampton) says it....... we´ll be fine without another one....

I think the big difference is that 8 games for Gazza is probably everything we have seen from him and he hasn´t been up to it judging by those games. I doubt that many of us has seen him play before he joined us. With Boruc it is a situation, at least for me, that I have seen him play for many years before and know what he is able to do if you get him a run of games and I can assure you that THAT is much better than KD and gazza ever would be close to. He is in a perfect age for a GK and has been really good the last two years in Fiorentina. And if you haven´t seen Boruc play before, get on youtube and watch some clips and you will see that he has never been a slimfit type of guy.

What about Douglas from Twente? Apparently are Reading in for him but surely he could do better. His contract is due this summer so could be relatively cheap...

And still all the players in the team trust him with the backpasses......so who´s right you think?

high demands when people want the GK to be the playmaker with his feets.... He started more GOOD attacks today with his throws than what KD and Gazza has done together this year with both kicks and throws...

If we can find someone that can play both LB and LM, like Martin Olsson from Blackburn, then I would say yes cause we would have two positions covered in one player.

We are not better without Lallana. BUT, Guly and Shaw has really built a good alternative on our left side the two last games. Seems to understand and trust each other in passing, overlapping etc.

Well, I guess you never complained after the Sunderland game?? Cause if points gained or dropped is only because of performance you should think that we didn´t drop any points at all in that game....

Boruc has great distribution with the throws. Has started quite a few attacks with that.
