No Cabaye for Newcastle for up to six weeks. I hate when players get injured and miss games but the cynical side of me says, good news for us for sunday.... http://www.journallive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2012/11/19/yohan-cabaye-faces-a-six-week-lay-off-with-groin-injury-61634-32259342/

Anyone with a list of Pardew signings that are not at the club anymore than??
-
Billy....? Where...??
-
What about Gazza, the **** dont cheering with the team!
-
I have said all the time that I would play Boruc every day of the week but will be hard to switch Gazza as long as we dont loose I guess even though he cost us two points against Swansea.... I really hope Boruc is getting fitter during practice cause that´s our only GK I can see steal a win or two. I dont think Gazza has that ability really...

If you look at Newcastles performance against West Ham they were pretty flat and that game came 3 days after they played in the Europa Leauge.... Next week will be the same story for them so that gives me great hope that they could do such a flat performance against us too...
-
I agree but we have only had Man U at home. I think our team is getting better for every week and eventually we´ll get a win against a top 6 team too. In a way I think the beatings has been good for us since I think you could fool yourself if you just lose 1-0 or 2-1. Now we have really focused on the defence the last couple of weeks but still remain with the ability to go forward and playing the ball.

Can I vote for our fans in the stadium...?? But seriously, Punch for me but what a job Cork does...
-
So true. I for one is really curious about playing Mayuka as the striker with Gaston playing his through-balls to him on the space behind opposites defenders, especially in away games....
-
You could also ask yourself how many english "stars" that has been succesful in some other leauge than PL.....? Different kind of football in different leauges make the whole difference but for me the big thing is that Gaston is still very young and can adapt easier than the older players that has tried before....

+1. Anyone that has followed a bit of Serie A last year has seen this.

yeah, those damn 5 yards passes....Barcelona should also know better than to play those all the time...

http://espnfc.com/uk/en/gamecast/statistics/id/357354/statistics.html?soccernet=true&cc=5739 from espn, came on as sub, did not leave the game. just some little person trying to have some fun...

easy choice. Boruc. We need quality and though he might not be in the best shape right now he´s by far the best out of those three.
-
So who do you people think should take responsibility in the Swansea goal situation? The player getting the ball and can see the whole field and should identify where the danger is or the player backing away and needs eyes in his back to see the field and where the danger could be? Yeah that´s pretty much football basics for the defense...
-
IF you really think that goal was Yoshidas fault you clearly show that your understanding of football is pretty close to zero....
-
yeah 3 games in which he was MOTM in one, scored in the second and came back after 5 weeks injury in the third. Of course he isn´t good enough. But why not offload Lambert and Morgan too.......and of course Cork (how could I forget), he hasn´t played a game yet for christ sake and we still pay him a monthly wage!! People just have to much spare time to kill these days....
-
You DO know from where our top players have got injuries.....games or training??
-
Please moan if you´re not happy with performances etc, but NEVER humiliate your own players/manager/staff by mocking them during games. THAT´s not a fan from my point of view.
-
Resting all those players last week worked then!
Olallana replied to CLOTH EARS's topic in The Saints
well they (as a lot of us has said before) weren´t rested due to the game tonight, it was because they played Spurs ONLY 48hrs before the Leeds game. understand this time? -
Looking at the attributes Rodriguez got I definitely think he could be a player like Shane Long IF he only got in the face of the opponents and became a pain in the ass to them. Now he´s too much of a nice guy but as I said, football attributes are pretty much the same. Got pace, good feets, good shot but there are miles apart regarding the mentality aspect. I think Shane Long and team confidence was pretty much the factors dividing the teams tonight.

I dont think as a manager you could play both Cork and Ramirex from the start. They have been away far to long to be sure they give you the full 90 minutes any of them and if you play them both from the start you very much limit your options during the game. There´s a big risk both needs to be subed and than you only have one more sub you can do. Imagine an injury in the first half and your options are gone. So for me, Ramirez from start if he´s fit, Cork coming on after 55-60 minutes...

I don´t, totally unnecessary bookings that could cost us players in crucial games.
