Yes ..... Blackburn. How does that make them bitter?
-
No, not until you correct 'acronym' to 'synonym'.
-
Very difficult to take seriously. After all, if the stadium was on the moon the nearest pubs would be here on Earth rather than "light years away".

The most embarrassing saints chants you have ever heard?
Victor replied to Roger's topic in The Saints
Too right! Some people say Shakespeare wrote that but I reckon it was that bloke Bacon. Or was it a ham? -
That's a bit unfair. He's hardly little.

One black one, one white one and one with a bit of ..... on

Actually, mong, you don't get a ticket for £3 - the ticket will cost you up to £30 and allows you admission for the ground for 2-3 hours, not 12 months. Could any kind soul who wants to do their bit for Help The Aged please explain what a 'bubble' match is; I might then have an opinion I could forward to the OP and understand the thread? Appears the OB are restricting access to FP but can't believe there is any legislation that would allow an individual to be prevented from making their own way to the ground.

Post no. 70 for a numpty whose opinions aren't worth a bean? And I actually wasted my time reading some of them! You lot owe me.

Palace 2 - 0 Saints - Post Match Reaction Thread
Victor replied to Saint_clark's topic in The Saints
Did he not contemplate the possibility that someone else might have told him? -
The place to give fringe players and young players an opportunity is in a proper reserve league. You all say everyone knew Saints and Palace would put out weakened sides and that everyone does it - this is why the Carling Cup has been devalued. It should NOT have been devalued. The top sides have huge squads with top players not getting games; the reserve set-up needs strengthening with better coverage and a cup competition with a prestige final. Maybe it is time to make the Carling Cup a proper reserve competition and restrict the use of players in the later rounds who have played more than a certain number of first team league games.

26!! That's an extraordinary figure considering our success has supposedly been based on the fact that we have a tight-knit team that's played together for a while and has few new faces.
-
Personally I'd rather live in the New Forest than within 30 miles of the centre of Liverpool, but then I suppose I don't have the desire to spend my leisure time 'on the lash' in clubs until 4.00am.

So the Watford player handles the ball AFTER Ricky heads it - still a penalty.
-
And if he can do it whilst playing diabolo I will be really impressed.
-
Your sympathy for someone who was so badly burned as a child that he spent 2 months in intensive care is quite touching.

The footballing plant? That's a teaser. Grass, perhaps. Presumably that's what the OP was on.
-
Yes, but who's for the chop once he starts wielding that axe? Poll please, mods.
-
And now Nathan Dyer gets a Premiership goal.
-
Mick Channon - skate khunt Ron Davies - skate khunt Alan Ball - skate khunt etc. Grow up for f...'s sake, you khunt.
-
It is quite OK within the laws of the game to be in an offside position when you receive the ball. HTH

We would should if we could.
-
Except that a) catering couldn't cope with all 7,000 buying a drink and a snack b) I doubt more than a couple of hundred would buy anything in the ground.
-
"would not HAVE" for Christ's sake!

Well, yes, that is exactly how compensation is already assessed. The Manchester City player WILL be awarded more than the fourth division player because his loss is demonstrably greater. The question you should have asked is "if some 23yr old who has never had a job cripples a top Premiership player and compensation is assessed at £20m, how are you going to make the toe-rag pay?"

That Leon Best too. Who did he think he was! Probably playing non-league these days. Good riddance, I say.
