Lallana out for 6 weeks, will miss this game!

Players are always going to leave for bigger and better clubs. Champions League finalist Dortmund lose their best players, Champions League finalist Atletico always have and still are loosing their best players. Arsenal Tottenham, Porto, Benfica all loose their best players to the big clubs. But for these clubs its about continuing to unearth new young gems that can help maintain their success before in time selling these on to for big profits. That will be the key to Southampton going forward, being able to intelligently reinvest, rather than trying to hold on to our top players when insane money is being thrown about.

To be fair to them, I think I would avoid chatting that to that pillock if I could help it!

Will be a shame if it is true, but if it is and our destiny isn't to break into the top 4 or whatever it is that some people want then I can happily live with being the club that produces and provides exciting young players for the national team, even if they do later move on to bigger and better things. There are a lot of worse situations to find yourself in!

We are 8th in the Premier league. Those who are doing the most moaning complaining on here are those who enjoyed telling us that we were deluded to think we could get in Europe with our squad earlier in the season. Make your minds up please lads, are we underachieving or are we exactly were we should be in the league, having just suffered our first loss in the league in 7 games?

He's not an out an out winger, more of a wide forward like J-Rod. Was very highly rated at one point so would be surprised if this happened unless his stock has significantly fallen!

Whilst i'm obviously delighted Lovren will be back for the WHU game, I think Yoshida's performances have shown that we are perhaps not quite as light at the back as it seemed earlier on. Pleased for him. He's shown why many of us thought him and Lovren would be our 1st choice partnership this year I would also say Davis was yet again our unsung hero but we seem to be saying that every week now. What a brilliant signing he has been for us.

This, we could be offered Coentrao or Baines in a swap and people would still rather have Shaw here due to his potential.

Wasn't the lad given compassionate leave at one point last year due to the death of his dad? If that was the case I don't think you can underestimate the affect that that can have on a young man living at the far side of the world to his family.
