  1. But the electors of his constituency decided that they wanted a Tory, based on their manifesto. If he wants to be a Reform MP he should have to ask them if they still want him as MP, based on that Party's beliefs and ideals. After all, we do have Recall Petitions.
  2. He was elected as a Tory. If he had stood as an independent he almost certainly would not be an MP.
  3. Who cares ?
  4. Probably because of her
  5. Andrew Bridgen puts himself forward as the biggest and thickest headbanger in the H0C; ( The look of despair on Penny Mordaunt's face when she has to reply to the twat is priceless )

Save that image, it might be needed for the match thread.
  7. How much do you reckon it would have cost to fly on an RAF Transport Command plane ? Or even first class on BA or QUANTAS.

The only border crossing between Egypt and Gaza is at Rafah, and that is effectively shut except for limited access for humanitarian supplies.
  9. William Hague, Ian Duncan-Smith, Michael Howard......
  10. 1) I expect turnout to be relatively low as neither candidate will inspire participation in the democratic process. 2) Number of votes only matters state by state as it is Electoral College votes that count - Hillary Clinton won more votes than Donald Trump but lost the election.
  11. Spoilers warning; The span of this part of the story in the books is 3 years, in the film it is less than a year, ( measured by Princess Irulan's diary entries and Jessica's pregnancy ), and possibly little more than "'a season", ( according to one of Chani's lines of dialogue. ) Because of this certain details of the relationship between Paul and Chani don't fit in, nor the Baron's death, which I can accept, but Chani's ending rewrites the political impact of Paul's accession. As a consequence there are characters and relationships that, whilst pre-existing in the book of Dune Messiah, have yet to be introduced in Villeneuve's Duniverse. It's a bit like watching The Two Towers and seeing the Elves appear at Helm's Deep, I'm just a bit autistic about such things.
  12. England go from 175:3 to 175:6 as Bairstow, Root, and Stokes are all out on the same score, burning all 3 of England's reviews in the process. Now 183:8.
  13. Cabinet Minister's social media lie costs the tax payer thousands. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-68496320
  14. But as the threshold has been frozen, rather than increasing with inflation, since 2018 it has been an impediment to SME growth as businesses halt their turnover to avoid hitting £85k.

"This particular poster"..........Is it like in BeetleJuice, if you name Duckie 3 times he suddenly appears in your living room ?
  16. According to the OBR, average earnings at the end of this Parliament will be no higher than they were at the start in 2019.
  17. Won't go far with a tax on vapes.
  18. Overall public sector spending to increase by 1% more than inflation up to 2029. However, given the embedded guarantees on increased NHS and education budgets, by the end of that period other services such as the Courts, prisons, and Local Government could see net reductions of up to 15%.

Plans to build 3400 more homes for Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank have been approved.
  20. As for managing the national debt.....
  21. I not sure if the smell outside is one of the local farmers muck spreading or the stench of unadulterated bullshit wafting up from Westminster.
