Not sure how OFCOM's slap on the wrist turned GBeebies into Goebbels' propaganda ministry, I suspect the extrapolation is more in the imagination of the more susceptible of us.

Could it be that most people with enough money to buy and run a large media outlet are capitalists and tend to favour Tory policies. It's a free market.
-
As Moonraker says above, the issue is that sitting MPs are not permitted to present or read news in the place of newsreaders. In the incidents OFCOM ruled on, studio discussions were interrupted by 'breaking' news items which the presenters proceeded to read out and comment on. Simple, clear, breach of the regulations.

Her money is hers, my money is ours.

Because she had laboured for years under a system that benefitted it's male participants disproportionately and decided that it was time for payback.

She didn't, which is the issue. She found out indirectly when working out her options for early retirement.

My wife is one of those affected.

A lot less than the £180Bn saved by raising the pension age from 60. It isn't about equality, it is about how the coalition Government mishandled the process of moving the effective date forward.

Evidence now that a prosecution Lawyer in one case "advised" a supposedly independent expert witness IT specialist on how to alter his testimony to better support the Post Office's case. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-68606121

Does any of this matter if nobody watches it ?

It's called FREEVIEW. Now, if you had asked "Does analogue TV still exist?"'.…..

I used to enjoy watching RT and Al Jazeera on occasion, knowing they were heavily biased but it does give you a glimpse of how other people are informed of world affairs.

Over the longer term the disparity probably narrows, but people are too impatient and want instant fixes.

David Sullivan saying that if a Football Regulator is brought in "Anything to water down our income will make us less competitive. We may cease to be the top league so they may ruin an asset that we have." The PL is far and away the richest league in the World, estimated to have twice the turnover of the next richest.

If you are going back 140 years then I am truly jealous of the success enjoyed by The Wanderers, with their 5 cup wins. Personally I am happy that in my lifetime we have won more FA Cups than Newcastle, Villa, and Notts Forest combined.

The relegation was very much to do with who we replaced Ralph with. We were on the slippery slope with him in charge, and replacing him was at the time the correct decision, he looked a broken man bereft of ideas, but the appointment of Mad Nate over an experienced Prem manager was a brain fart of astronomical proportions, ( Rasmus isn't half as clever as her thinks he is ), and then to go for promoting Selles put the final nails in the coffin.

Can Putin afford to send 13% of his electorate to the Gulag ? You can guarantee that the FSB know who failed to carry out their patriotic duty and show support for Vlad. Might be a business boost for Russian glaziers coming soon.

At the Senate hearing into the Special Prosecutor's report the ( former Trump employee ) Special Counsel Robert Hur had to admit that the transcript of his interview with President Biden was accurate in that, despite what was written in the final report, Biden did indeed remember the date of his son's death. In response to being asked the month of his son's death, Biden replied “What month did Beau die? Oh God, May 30,”. The report says that Biden was asked the year of Beau's death, which he was not.

Maybe it is because there aren't enough LGBTQetc marchers.
