  1. Either way, Che must stay.
  2. Especially those walking dogs with the dogs on the outside.
  3. I watched Northants score 370 batting first and then lose against Lancashire at Blackpool - with at least 4 balls lost by going out of the ground.
  4. Not at all. Trump is a condensation of everything wrong with capitalism, evrything wrong with the imoact of money on the democratic process, the personification of right wing American gung-ho bullshit. He is a spoilt brat who can't accept that he might be wrong, cannot accept losing, and basically he is, as was stated above, a vile human being.
  5. Heart of gold.....
  6. Correct ,- anybody supporting him is certainly deranged
  7. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-62578359 "The long-time financial chief of Donald Trump's company has pleaded guilty to fraud and tax evasion charges at a New York court. Allen Weisselberg, who served as The Trump Organization's chief financial officer, had been charged with concealing more than $1.7m (£1.4m) in off-the-books income." Is this the first block knocked out of the Jenga tower that is Trump's business empire ? ( Or just the 'woke' BBC misrepresenting things ? )
  8. Why did the penguin take his HGV test ? Because he wanted to drive antarcticulated lorries.
  9. No she wouldn't recognise it because that is true irony, unlike "Raiaayyn on your wedding day".
  10. And Trump can't drink from a bottle, or even string a coherent sentence. Surely the main thing to conclude from this is the sorry state of US Politics, if these are the 2 leading candidates.
  11. The fact that the telescopes searching for intelligent life in the Universe are all pointing away from the Earth
  12. From what ? He and his acolytes would dismantle and destroy the last vestiges of American democracy. Heaven help the rest of the World if that gormless umpah lumpah gets back in.
  13. Skacel has run off with the pen.
  14. What does Winnie the Pooh have in common with Alexander the Great ? The same middle name.
  15. Careful, or we'll have "Wheel of Pedantry" to go with it. Mind you, MLG would be on the majority of segments.
  16. At least 2 post on this thread.
  17. As per the front page of the Daily Fail; I hope you are prepared to have registration plates affixed to your velocipedes so that you can be identified when speeding or jumping red lights.
  18. Republic
  19. There's a Longship full of Vikings clearing their throats in preparation.
  20. Sadowitz is definitely an acquired taste, and his reputation is widely known, so perhaps this person should not have gone in the first place. Different people find differing things funny, and taking a couple of points out of the context of the show may well paint an inaccurate picture. Many comedians 'push the envelope', and knowing where the 'line that should not be crossed' can be found sometimes eludes them. Personally I think Sadowitz and Frankie Boyle, for example, deliberately court controversy, and I find some of their work difficult and possibly unnecessary, but if I was to go to one of their shows I would know what to expect.
  21. Island
  22. I don't know the specifics, but it was apparently because of extreme "racism, sexism, homophobia, and mysogeny". The sort of stuff his act has always contained. The theatre came out with this perfect example of self- contradiction; "The Pleasance is a venue that champions freedom of speech and we do not censor comedians' material. While we acknowledge that Jerry Sadowitz has often been controversial, the material presented at his first show is not acceptable and does not align with our values. This type of material has no place on the festival and the Pleasance will not be presenting his second and final show."
  23. When a theatre that has previously hosted Jerry Sadowitz's shows books him for 2 new shows, posts 'potententially offensive content' warnings on the posters and flyers advertising said shows, then cancels the second show when a few people in the audience on the first night complain about the content. Where did they think they were going ? What did they think they were going to see - Ant and Dec ?
  24. You spend so much in your local establishments that if you stop going it noticeably affects the local economy ?
  25. Elia Viviani rides the mens road race at the European Championships this morning, finishing 7th, then turns up for the elimination race on the velodrome track this evening and wins.
