Soggy, stop it. I am not sure if this is deliberate or stupidity but you need to go away and rethink how you express your opinions on this subject. -
Thay switch into mean mode if you cross the median.

Indeed. They can still put a mobile camera on a stretch covered by fixed average speed systems.

Because of the way they work they can also detect uninsured and untaxed cars being used on the road.

Nigel Farage, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Lee Anderson, Laurence Fox. Four excellent reasons to NEVER patronise this joke of a channel.

Just experienced a new motoring nuisance - a driver who slows down as he approaches average speed cameras.

Malcolm Tucker in the 2007 "Thick of it" episode "Spinners and Losers"; " The leader of the Nutters is a nutter! Jesus , my niece is funnier than that, she just makes jokes about poo! No, I don't think that they will run with it because it's libellous. It's just as libellous as the Huw Edwards rumor."

Allegations now emerging of inappropriate conduct in the news office' "A BBC employee has told BBC News they received “suggestive” messages from Edwards that made them feel uncomfortable. BBC News has seen the messages, which refer to the staff member’s appearance and were sent this year." "BBC Newsnight has also spoken to one current and one former BBC worker who said they’d received inappropriate messages from Edwards, some late at night and signed off with kisses. One said they felt it was an abuse of power by someone very senior in the organisation. Both workers who spoke to Newsnight, and the other employee, spoke of a reluctance among junior staff to complain to managers about the conduct of high-profile colleagues in case it adversely affected their careers."

It is Republican controlled legislatures that are passing these laws. They obviously feel they have enough support from their electorates to do so. Also, the Republican/conservative controlled Supreme Court passed a judgement setting aside Roe v Wade and placing State Government above Federal in this matter,so there is little Biden can do.
