  1. If he isn't going to play, why is he at Saints ?
  2. He is half alien. Surely that ticks this particular box.
  3. Richard III lost.
  4. Then again, it might also have something to do with Teresa May suspending, and Boris then dismantling the pandemic planning committee 6 months before CoViD hit, so that more time and effort could be directed towards Brexit. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2020/06/13/boris-johnson-scrapped-cabinet-pandemic-committee-six-months/
  5. Hardly a "Triumph of Science" then. It may also have had to do specifically with the Government being politically unwiling, or unable, to folow the example of other countries, especially in Asia, in closing borders and introducing manadatory civil quarantines.
  6. Have you run out of ponds to poison ?
  7. There really isn't a need, he does a better job himself than I could ever manage.
  8. YAY !!!!!!! A very scientific approach: ignore criticism.
  9. The first paper on your list does not cite the McKinley and Christy oaper, it is merely listed as a "reference from the supporting information", and the paper overall concludes that anthropogenic warming is responsible for most of the observed events the paper describes. Oh....HTH.
  10. http://redgreenandblue.org/2020/09/23/deniers-double-crying-censorship-trick-people-paying-attention-stupidity/ "For those that don’t know, these guys are not exactly top notch scientists. Canadian economist Ross McKitrick’s work is so subpar he has been described as “shameless bullshit” and either “dumb or dishonest,” and has proven incapable of properly reading charts. He also once, in a study co-authored with Pat Michaels, made the elementary mistake of confusing radians and degrees (in such a way that, just like all his other supposed mistakes, led to him claiming that he’d debunked some aspect of climate science). Meanwhile, University of Alabama-Hunstville’s John Christy has long been responsible for some of the field’s shoddiest satellite science, including an infamous graph purporting to show models drastically overestimating warming, that he’s paraded in front of Congress multiple times, but has somehow never gotten published in the actual peer-reviewed literature. (Because it’s wrong.) Together, they’re not exactly much better than the sum of their parts. For example, after reading a study of theirs last year, blogger Tamino wrote that it “demonstrates to those who know what they’re doing, that McKitrick and Christy don’t. If you really don’t know what you’re doing you might think this paper is impressive. If you do know what you’re doing, this paper is a supreme embarrassment to its authors.”"

    Coronavirus

Free speech, innit. The more anti-vaxxers actually catch a serious case of CoViD the better.
  12. Is it a quote by SOGgy ?
  13. Stark
  14. They were also built without microchips, so the supply chain was easier to manage. No hanging around waiting for a container to arrive fron China.
  15. Just when we thought you could not get any more pathetic and out of touch with reality, you manage to lower your standards even further.
  16. What about the Romanian/Chinese ?
  17. It is all a conspiracy to defraud Global governments of $35 trillion, or GM is wrong. Hmmmmm, difficult decision.
  18. I can picture an historical version of GM stood on the stern of the sinking Titanic asking the people around him "Could somebody please show me how a simple block of ice could possibly sink 30 thousand tons of steel. Where is the scientific evidence ?".
  19. closet
  20. You have a digger ? You jammy bastard. What I'd give for a digger !
  21. It will be interesting to see how the officials at the Andorra v England match are received - it is an all female onfield team, with a woman VAR official as well.
  22. I'll defend the North if it faces down twats with baseless superiority complexes about the South. ( Remember, I was born in the Royal South Hants and went to school in Soton ).
  23. City's fans live within 30 miles of their stadium, United's live south of Watford. ( OK, I know that is an exaggeration; my wife is a blue and lives 55 miles away from the Etihad, my D-i-L is a red and lives in Ashton-u-Lyne, but it is a fairly accurate statement for the rest of them ).
  24. Is it short enough that he can he 'take a long walk' on it ?
  25. Ooh err Matron !
