  1. My moral system allows other people to formulate and hold whatever they want to beleive and subscribe to, without fear of my perpetually mocking them for it. The only exceptions I permit myself are violently extremist radical religious zealots, such as ISIS, and you.
  2. Alternatively, because nobody else supports your position of attempting constantly to ridicule personal belief systems because you have a grossly over-inflated sense of moral superiority..
  3. Why does Batman's mask not cover his entire face ? He needs to show the Police that he is white.
  4. Matthew - saying 'God Bless' is a generic statement of empathy, it does not indicate in any way that the person uttering the comment has a particular belief. In similar vein, when somebody sneezes it is a common practice to respond with "Bless you". Why do you seize every opportunity to mock other people's belief systems ? Are you on some sort of crusade, or just an intolerant jerk ?
  5. Because Johnson will not, and was never going to, lead the Tories into the next election.

I never had Jonnyboy pegged as a Putin shill. Life is full of unexpected twists and turns.

  9. Not really, in that constituency, as with many, they invariably elect whoever, or whatever, is wearing the blue rosette - the decision is solely that of the constituency party. The same lack of imagination is true for many Labour seats.
  10. As with many MPs it goes to show the poor quality of those being presented as candidates at the polls, and the lack of respect for the electorate that political parties demonstrate.
  11. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-61134002 Speaking to Broadcasting House on BBC Radio 4, cross-bench peer Lord Hennessy said: "I think we're in the most severe constitutional crisis involving a prime minister that I can remember." He added when Mr Johnson and Chancellor Rishi Sunak were fined on Tuesday, he wrote in his diary that "Tuesday 12 April 2022 will be forever remembered as a dark bleak day for public and political life" and the prime minister had become " great debaser in modern times of decency in public and political life, and of our constitutional conventions".... He said Mr Johnson had turned his position into "an adventure playground for his narcissistic vanity"........ Lord Hennessy said Mr Johnson's decision not to resign showed "complete and utter disdain for the decency of our constitutional conventions". "I cannot remember a day when I have been more fearful for the well-being of the constitution. "It's an assault on not just the decent state of mind which keeps our society open and clean but also on the institutions of the state. "If he's not prepared to do the decent thing... why should anybody else behave decently and properly? The whole decency of our public life turns on this question."

The potential for a referendum in Donetsk and Luhansk was actually just that, a phrase whereby Zelensky said he might not be opposed to some sort of vote to decide the area's future, possibly a national poll. This was said in an effort to revive 'peace' talks with Russia over the region -an area that Russia was deliberately de-stabilising by funding and arming an insurgency. ( Russia did not even recognise the result of the rigged votes that were gerrymandered by the self-declared republics in 2014 ).

From a BBC article; "While one TV talk show host didn’t speculate on Ukraine’s claims that it had struck the ship, a clearly emotional studio guest - film director and ex-MP Vladimir Bortko - said the fate of the Moskva was grounds for war. " It is reported that the Kremlin has issued an order that anything in Ukraine that cannot be captured by Victory Day ( May 9th ) should be destroyed.

Those false flag helicopter raids are starting to have the desired effect. Of course Russia has done absolutely nothing to provoke an aggressive response from the Ukrainians.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitri Peskov: “If Ukraine continues its provocations by attacking Russian cities, Russia will be forced to declare war against Ukraine”.
