Son following father's lead in talking totally fabricated bollocks. I wonder why the Trump's hold such personal animosity towards Zelensky.

    So said Isaac Newton.
  4. McCullum say they "over-prepared" for the Gabba.
  5. If it had been Bazunun in goal for Sutton last night in the FA Cup, some people would be blaming him for Shrewsbury's second goal. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/videos/c3e0z3e7nk8o
  6. Leave a space on the bench vacant where Aribo might otherwise be and it would be a better option than Joe.
  7. Because that is what he is. People respond to him, like Infantino, on the basis of what they can gain from the relationship, and pandering to a bully gives reflected glory. They don't care what other people might think of him, or their interaction with him. They just dismiss the mockery as ignorance and jealousy. Whatever you might think about Trump, for better or worse he is the most powerful man in the World, or at least the mouthpiece and public face for those who believe they are deservedly the most powerful men in the World. It is all about mutual ego grooming.
  8. Manning needs to realise that a wing back occasionally needs to be a full back. The easiest way to attack Saints is to go wide on our left, level with the front of the penalty area, there is always space where Manning is supposed to be.
  9. The US National Parks Service is removing free entry on 2 national holidays, MLK day and the day that celebrates the end of slavery, but they are adding free entry on "Flag Day", which purely by coincidence is the birthday of a certain Donald J Trump.
  10. He cannot defend. Pity it's his job.
  11. Players off the pitch at Ewood Park due to a waterlogged pitch. I can confirm it has been absoluteky pissing down up here.
  12. People getting trolled on SM as posts claim that newly elected Mayor Mamdani in New York is going to mandate the use of arabic numerals in city schools.

  14. The UK did more than it's fair share of colonisation itself between 1600 and 1947.
  15. England currently 123 for 5. 🙂
  16. Umpire gives Brook out caught behind when he clearly missed it by inches, Brook reviews successfully. Very next ball Umpire gives him not out to a ball he has clearly hit, Australia successfully review. 2 very poor decisions.
  17. Too many stupid, loose, shots to balls that can safely be left. Other than Root, there doesn't seem to be a single player in the England team capable of batting successive maiden overs if the situation requires it. Bazball has frazzled their brains.
  18. This, according to John Swinney https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cn814e1ev47o
  19. Half of the England first innings 'out' scores combined come to less thsn the lowest scoring Australian batsman managed.

    Russia

The US is apparently trying to pressure European countries to release some of the funds from frozen Russian assets to the US, rather than use them to fund projects in Ukraine. There are 3 possible motives; 1) Pressure Ukraine to accept the US 'peace' plan 2) Relieve some of the financial pressure on the Russian aconomy 3) Allow the US to take a cut to compensate it for supporting Ukraine. Chancellor Merz of Germany is working to resist the US proposal, and to convince other European countries to follow his lead.
  21. It is strange that Tice can say that all those accusng Farage have faulty memories, because it was so long ago, but Farage's recollections of the same events are perfectly clear.
