Looking on Oddschecker we vary from 6/ to 9/1, the same as Newcastle and Stoke. Looking at the betting tables we are rated to finish around 8th.

I believe that that statement was a naive comment from somebody who didn't seem to understand the nature of football finances, ( particularly given the new EPL TV deal ) - yes we owed what looked like a large sum of money, but as has been done to death elsewhere, it should have been viewed as more of a mortgage againt the TV money rather than a deadweight around the club's neck.
"The south coast club, who finished eighth in the Premier League, are under no financial pressure to sell and are determined not to be pressurised into sanctioning deals by suitors keen to make signings before the World Cup."
Spending Kat's money. Why on Earth would she hold a fire sale now, if she's been happy to support NC's ambition for more than 3 years ? Surely if she was looking to bail out, Saints would be worth more with all of our best players still in the squad ?
TWITTER seems full of LOLs this evening :
Michael Stafford @SportStafford · 36m Seems the deal as I said Before, Rickie Lambert 9m, Lovren 20m, Lallana 2m (so bournemouth don't get the cut) Great marketing from #LFC.
Another bright idea, private companies to be allowed to make a profit from child protection :

Given the recent history of G4S and SERCO with public service contracts, is this even worth proposing ?
As others have stated, that is not a 'brilliant' summary at all. On the day Marcus died we were 19th in League 1, presumably Kat supported Cortese's ambition from then on, ( even if at arms length ).

"
Victory will secure a top-flight return at the first attempt for the London club.
But it could leave the Football League with a problem recovering a huge sum in Financial Fair Play penalties."
Let's hope that the FL find a way to enforce things.
