How many of those are genuine links and how many are tabloid b0ll0x ? ( Edit : or ones you made up ? )

Stop exaggerating - 'most' of our team is not wanted by teams above us, 3 or 4 are, and our challenge is to hang on to them whilst replacing some of those 'not good enough' to build on an 8th/9th place finish this season.
-
Pedantry alert - You cannot lose points from a winning position, you can lose a game from a position of holding the lead but the worst case scenario is that you finish the game with the same number of points you started it with.

We lost, never mind, move on. I sometimes think that if we lose the post-match thread should be started in The Muppet Show.

Our gardens are like a pet cemetery - 3 cats and 2 dogs buried there ( we also have the ashes from another 2 dogs that were cremated ), plus several rabbits and guinea pigs, and a few chickens. Hardest one for me was having the pony put down - no way was I going to dig a hole for that.

Yet Labour are ahead in the opinion polls.

The new Ukrainian Parliament voted to repeal the law that permits regional use of languages other than Ukrainian for official purposes - the interim President has currently refused to sign the change into law. "The Ukrainian Parliament (Verkhovna Rada) abolished the 2012 law “On State Language Policy” the day after it voted to dismiss President Viktor Yanukovich. The law allowed the country’s regions to use more official languages in addition to Ukrainian if they were spoken by over 10 percent of the local population. Thirteen out of Ukraine’s 27 regions, primarily in Eastern Ukraine, then adopted Russian as a second official language. Two Western regions introduced Romanian and Hungarian as official languages." http://rt.com/news/minority-language-law-ukraine-035/

Don't think this has been posted yet - a plausible theory ? https://plus.google.com/106271056358366282907/posts/GoeVjHJaGBz

How 'fair and legal' is any vote in that part of the world ? It's not as if the current regime in Kiev were put in place by such means.

The saintbletch "Hilarious fun with words" thread

Defence - take down the garden perimeter Designer - man who removes roadside information Despot - acne cream Deliberate - put a parolee back in jail Define - refund a parking ticket -
Which therefore means against the bottom 10 : P17 W11 D5 L1

Results can be twisted in many ways - Newcastle have lost 6 games against the bottom 6, whereas we have only lost 2. There is only one table that matters and in that we are 8th.

Maybe you should do what GS did and spam just about everybody with a friends request.

More than 50 this year, ( just to be clear that is in 2014 ). 37 this year. ( and wrt match threads, who died and left you in charge ? ).

Any true Saints fan would put COYS.

Cod 3 Skates 1. As the seagull flies I live a mile and a half downwind from the ground, so we've kept the windows shut all afternoon.

Well it's a weak point - there is probably more excitment at the prospect of testing ourselves against the 'big boys', and possibly a degree of complacency in the build up to matches like today's, but to think that such a game doesn't matter is bull - why was I on the edge of my seat when it had gone to 3-2, Lovren had hobbled off to leave us a man short, and they got their long throw opportunity with 1 minute of added time to go ?
-
How many Newcastle fans will be at their next home game despite it 'meaning very little' ? Given how poorly, comparatively, their season has been, I surprised that ManUtd aren't playing at an empty OT. I'm a Saints SUPPORTER and every game matters - what about you ?
-
Well he's 1 for 1 so far.

Shallow gene pool resulting in 6-fingered rangas.

Wasn't the first one Fonte ?

That's your fault !

They're very strange over on the dark side.

Left Sot'on for Uni @ 18, married at Uni and moved up to God's Own County, and have now spent twice as long living up here as I spent down there, so whilst it's a nice place to visit, and many of my family are down there, my wife and children are up here, and I'm quite settled. However, nothing will take the Red&White out my heart. ( On a side note, I got bloody annoyed the other night watching University Challenge when Paxman kept referring to one team as South-hampton ).
