  1. Not unless we get Mr Webb every week.
  2. And, of course, the manager isn't aware of this ?
  3. So many armchair generals.
  4. Negative point - we looked disorganised and lacked midfield control, ( Wanyama's contribution was probably worse than Fox's ) Positive point - we have played 3 matches, 2 away from home, and have 3 more points than the corresponding fixtures last season
  5. How many international football caps have you won ?
  6. Has Wanyama been worse than Fox ?
  7. So how many African dictators / revolutionaries have we stood against recently ? Who asked for a coalition against Pol Pot ?
  8. Michael Gove in "not understanding that MP's are supposed to represent the opinions of their constituents" shock.
  9. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/the-singer-the-xrated-movies-and-the-dictator-kim-jonguns-former-girlfriend-executed-by-firing-squad-for-appearing-in-porn-films-8789322.html A South Korean newspaper has reported that a singer, formerly a gf of Kim, and her backing group have been machine gunned to death after being found guilty of breaking North Korean morality laws.
  10. Is that because it should be Team UK ?
  11. But are all your "ducks in a row" ?
  12. Which is why, IMO, putting too much effort into lambasting it in comparison to TOS / TNG, etc, is pointless. I'm a big fan of TOS and most of TNG/DS9/Voyager, and the related films, but my issue with Into Darkness isn't based on childhood recollections of Bill Shatner et al, it's just a lazy film that falls into the current "big chase scene ? - check, CGI suitable for 3D ? - check, large expolsions and over-loud sound effects ? - check; OK let's make lots of money" school of filming, that doesn't naturally follow on from the reboot. ( Will I buy the DVD ? - yes )
  13. This.
  14. "Star Trek Into Darkness is the most successful Star Trek movie ever made," he said, "It is, in terms of what it took at the box office and how many people went to see it. "More people saw that film than any iteration of Star Trek that existed before..................". Would this have happened if they had made a 'proper' Trek movie ?
  15. If we are talking GCSE maths then out of 10 he should be given 11.
  16. Impatient and inconsiderate car drivers who complain about cyclists, and even deliberately / dangerously block their progress. Pointless cycle lanes - we have one in Blackpool that is just a strip of red paint running in the opposite direction to the traffic flow on a busy one-way street.
  17. Most adult male cyclists DO pay RFL as they are also car drivers.
  18. It's how they're taught to ride when they are learning - it's termed 'filtering'. http://www.motorcyclenews.com/MCN/News/newsresults/General-news/2011/July/jul2911-mcn-iam-better-riding-guide-filtering/
  19. Generally a disease of poverty, and there is tendency among sufferers to not complete the antibiotic regime. Given the proportion of immigrants affected this latter point may be a cultural issue, ( language etc ).
  20. He turned down a move to Cardiff, seemingly because he had just become a father and didn't want to move away. ( I knew working @ Bloomfield Road would come in handy one day ). http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2373900/Tom-Ince--Footballers-Football-Column-Why-I-turned-Cardiff.html
  21. Interesting to see the link below that : http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/southampton-transfer-news-southampton-suffer-1984923.
  22. Into Darkness named worst Star Trek movie ever http://uk.movies.yahoo.com/video/darkness-named-worst-star-trek-132000653.html ( At a Star Trek convention ) Do they honestly think that 'The Final Frontier' and 'Insurrection' are better ?
  23. Not just small businesses, large parts of the public sector, especially Local Government, have done the same.
  24. With regard to the alleged effect of tape on the edge of bats on the HawkEye system, surely the batsmen could be cheating themselves ; if it dims the hot-spot, such that edges for "catches" don't show on the DRS reviews, it will also fail to show thin edged snicks into the pads when given out LBW.
