  1. Well I was only fishing to see if Mousse could stomach me complimenting them. But then again I am grateful to people with a track record who continue to share on here. Jack may not be one of them but i'm not going to likewise write him off and slag him off before anything he has said has been disproven, that's just bitter and petty.
  2. It's really good that we have some people with ITK info like Jack, Guan and K Billy. Really appreciate it especially with all the crazy names the media has thrown out this week. Nice to have a guide as to what's going on behind the scenes. Cheers lads/lasses.
  3. I don't care about the childish spat of which club has the biggest club, coCk, installed floodlights etc and which overpaid media numpty or bindipping gob****e wants to ram that opinion down throats to prove their yearly prediction of Liverpool winning the league. History is a line on a wiki page, it doesn't magically have effects on the current teams ability to win games. The fact for Saints FC at this moment in time is that we will be competing against Liverpool FC for Top 6. If we have the choice to not sell to a rival, regardless of money offered and Mane wanting to go, we should not do it this season. That is the only way to change the dynamic. “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results”
  4. I have faith in Hoddle, he'll be crowing about how good Tottenham are before the Mic's even turned on.

Please god, not Portugal again. In recent history they have loved ending tournaments for us especially on penalties in the knockout rounds.
  6. The deal could have been pre-arranged.
  7. Clearly the ship isn't leaking anything substantial, as the papers are now just throwing darts at a list of names to try and be the ones that guess the next captain... And no I have no idea why I've gone somewhere nautical with this metaphor.
  8. I think keeping him for another year without signing an extension regardless of value drop is worth more to the club in terms of where we can potentially finish next season, our European Cup attempt and also the public statement it would send about our club. If we want to stop being seen as a 'Selling Club' so we can attract better manager and achieve more then it's quite simple, we have to stop selling unless we absolutely have no choice, and as proven with Wanyama last year, it can be done. Mane is on the way to being in the next level up from Lallana, Lambert, Clyne or Lovren therefore we need to keep him for as long as its in our control and get the benefit of him for the value we paid for him. I think losing an initial 10M investment and having a chance of getting into the Champions league is worth it occasionally when you have a player of his calibre and capability that has undoubted ability to be even better.
  9. If Mane was the only business Liverpool did it would give them enough of an edge for them to get a top 6 finish. I think us handing that edge to a competitor (on the same level as us at this current time) is madness. He clearly is headed for the top and will get better as he matures, we should hold onto him for as long as possible because he is just going to get better and better.
  10. If I was cynical I'd guess it's more likely part of a game to see if the media starts running with Bielsa if we big it up on here. However I hope there is some truth to it as it would be funny to have Poch and Guardiola both having to go up against someone they have professed to idolise. Of course it would be a case of second half of the season burnout again as with Poch but will be bloody entertaining. By all accounts Bielsa works his players in training harder than 'the Sheriff' himself.
  11. You really need to get over it.
  12. Woah you cant be saying stuff like this on here...(pal)... Far too close to the bone. Putting others down on an internet forum is all some of us on here have going for us.

I have no doubt Hodgson would have left vardy at home if he could have got away with it. Roy's match day selection flowchart: 1. Does he play for Liverpool and able to walk (if yes, he is in) 2. Does he play for Man Utd, Tottenham or Man City and able to walk (if no bemoan lack of talent in press conference) 3. Has the player been in the newspapers all season with lots of hype. (If yes begrudgingly put him on bench and hope they forget about him) 4. Is the player Recovering from injury from Liverpool, Man Utd, Tottenham or Man City. 5. Is the player in form and the best player for the empty position.

But moaning at everyone as usual, bless him. He'll probably score an overhead screamer from out of nowhere in a minute.
  17. This and especially last bit. He has made himself look silly once a season since Cortese left and isn't a reflection of what he has actually done and achieved. He's done a great job but the Alderweireld situation was pretty cringeworthy and this one hasn't been great either.

Yeah very defensive based football and games that reflect it. Think it might be because the nature of the way the groups have shaped up. The good attacking sides need to pick up points from teams that are practically parking the bus but who have one/two star players (wales, sweden, poland etc) and so you end up with a cagey affair where the attacking team has to be careful not to get stung on the counterattack by a moment of genius. Think once the more rounded teams come up against each other we will see more cracking games of football, think England could still be a surprise package if we can clear the hurdle and get into last 16. I think our attacking flair will be better placed to exploit teams that attack more. A bit like with Saints, who generally play better against teams that come at us like Chelsea,Man Utd, Arsenal etc because we have the space to play our game.

Sweden giving everything they have and not getting far, not convinced there is going to be a goal in this game. Hope Italians can sort out their link up in the final third.

Yeah to be fair if any prem team was lining up with these three next year most teams would **** a brick. We've got a really good chance of going far in this tournament if we can get it to click in time.
  21. Koeman hopping ship has certainly spawned a lot of interesting managerial options.
  22. Yeah yeah I know, let me have my fun.
  23. The photo of Koeman looking at the club scarf is quite funny. He appears to have a slightly mocking 'What the **** is this?' look on his face, maybe it's the look you have when you've massively ****ed up and the reality of it starts to sink in.
