we did that to a lesser extent with Puel. all the talk of managers brought in to fit our system as opposed to the other way around..... for puel to play a diamond with redmond as a central figure (with Austin wide left) that is no dig at puel but shows we left this mythical "southampton way" then. it was dead in terms of shape and set up of a team.

saints in the championship is no biggy. last time we went down from the prem I was genuinely gutted. this time, not so.
