it evens out over the season. apparently
-
quite funny hearing Collymore saying Delph should get picked before drinkwater because he has trained with silva and toure all season as well as being fresh due to only playing 8 games jesus. Only in this country would a key player from the champions get knocked for a player who played one good game nearly a year ago or when ever it was (away to switzerland)
-
I wonder if this set back means they will double the efforts in expanding Fratton Park? priorities and all that
-
totally agree
-
just to make this clear, there is no scenario where it would be beneficial for saints by cheering on Liverpool this week?
-
bang on as normal
-
very nice around there. I'd like us to get Townsend. £8m is a decent price too
-
but they are the most passionate fans ever who never ever...EVER boo their own
-
Noble gets lots of calls because he plays for the London media pet project called West Ham
-
it will be Rashford and 2 midfielders who will get cut (2 from Delph, Wilshere, Henderson and Drinkwater)

Roy..... picked 26 because there is uncertainty with a few injuries. Got a couple of extra players to see how they go in the friendlies You have 2 cup finals to happen yet disappointed welbeck is out. he did well for us in qualifying we will miss him and sad for him rashford has a chance. he has strong competition and will be interesting to see how he does but we will have a look at him he has a big future and good to include him. He will need to do exceptionally well to knock someone off their perch but this will be good for him wary about naming people in the final squad who are unfit we will have a look at wilshere and henderson in the friendlies would like to have had a few more league games pleased to see henderson play yesterday wilshere has been back a few weeks these 3 friendlies will be important for them I have enough players around incase others are not fit enough will want to tell the 23 who are picked sooner rather than later Baines has not played for england for over a year. Rose and bertrand have done well carrick has been injured on and off and had to make a decision only taking 7 defenders as wanted to take an extra midfielders Jagiekla not in, it was my choice and that is part of the job. I spoke to him personally Walcott out, it was another decision i had to make. Andros was unlucky to lose his place a while ago Andros has done well at newcastle Theo not playing at arsenal and had to make a decision we have worked hard in qualifying, we think we have picked a good squad. Lots of new players in terms of international football we have an exciting, young and energetic side. This is a positive don't want to put expectations on the tournament. Leicester won the league and who predicted that, so we will see players feel they can win every game this is a young squad, not many caps and experience compared to our counterparts

No carroll or walcott FF, Bertrand in Townsend in Rashford in for training with the team walcott (rightly) dropped. He needs out of Arsenal ASAP The squad will be finalised on May 31st

Brilliant and incredibly frustrating season. Another poor show in the domestic cups. Average transfer window in the summer (VvD dragging it up from being below average) Europe was a poor effort IMO But an outstanding 2nd half of the season with a thrilling run-in and good results against the so-called top 5 clubs Very Good season all round

As we see with players moving on and not being that great. Ron should be careful. He had a mixed bag at bigger clubs before us. I think he will sign a new 3 year deal with the exception that if Holland or a foreign mega-club come calling, he will go. Which is fine by me

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 4-1 Crystal Palace

Finish above Liverpool and their God-on-earth manager. Good stuff -
indifferent to Pelle going how he was used yesterday was how he should have been used a lot more

what would be more worrying. the device was found by a fan? I doubt a fan would be looking for it. It must have been there for days. Probably when they had the anti-terrorism exercise in Manchester earlier in the week? guess they don't check the spaces in OT before opening it up to 76k people
-
if it was their own device, at least it should have been signed out and if that was the case, signed back in. you tend not to be too casual with pipe-bomb replicas
-
you can get a red before the game starts you don't have to go off for an injury (to the sidelines) if the person who inflicted that injury gets a red/yellow 95 changes in total, apparently

Premiership stadiums getting bigger, hope we don't get left behind

neither does paying someone £250k a week to kick a bag of wind -
Just spoke to a bloke on our street who goes to Argyle with his boy. he sits near-ish to the away fans (not right next to them) and when plymouth scored, all sorts were being thrown into the argyle fans from the blue-few. His 12 year old got a whack on the head with a smoke-bomb thing and had to be treated for it. nice

oh yes you would. When that contract is worth millions of £££ this the time for saints to push on. New TV deal on the back of a couple of summers of very low net spending. we surely must be in a very health position. It 'appears' Koeman is keen to stay but wants the club to back their own words up with some reality
