Villa are dead and buried. I think they will be down for a few years following the inevitable. Just not one thing about that set up is geared up for a quick return

the whole area is generally barbaric. -
RK has been backed more than any other manager in my lifetime. We have always sold players (not in the numbers of the last two summers, granted) But I don't remember a manager getting hacked with relative huge funds like Ron has If the Twitter thing is true (debatable) then I think he is not too keen on staying
-
Agree with you in that RK should tell the public what Vic is. He was not afraid to tell us all that reed lacked footballing qualities (which I doubt)
-
get rid of caulker and use our own
-
it was Guan who confirmed it mate. I am starting to think Ron is not that great a manager. read on another site that he is the best manager we have had for decades.....just way OTT I want to see more of what we were about last season. Just not happening really he has a very mixed bag in his career.

Gazza Martina Fonte VvD Targett Rom Reed Davis Tadic Long Juanmi I can see palace resting a few, they have a few injuries themselves.
-
Of course the club should be considering his future. You can't keep losing nearly every game and expect to stay in the job or have your own future seriously questioned!! As said in another thread, koeman's performance has been terrible this season. But you have posters jumping down your throat for saying that here. Now a genuine ITK is suggesting it (him leaving) may happen
-
I think Koeman has been terrible this season He was brilliant last... but you have a few fans saying we should be oh so thankful he is our manager and we could never get anyone to do a better job and all that
-
or, sign better players either/or will do
-
I was the year above him at school he was deffo a saints fan then
-
mine would be Eddie Howe

We have a great chance to turn it around. 2 home league games in a row. Has to be 4 points minimum. But then. Does it still remain a "bump in the road" if we get 0-2 points?
-
a few probably have. Not as much as a summer window though. But then not as many players move in jan
-
we spend plenty IMO just we have had a bad transfer window and it is hurting us. Also, the manager has been hit and miss this season IMO
-
we sold £28m worth of RBs and replaced them with £6m worth. it painfully shows and is hurting us quite a bit as you say VvD is not as good as Toby but is easily the best summer signing. Clasie is looking pretty decent too. Are they not the two most expensive players we signed?
-
the question is, will those teams lose as many players as we have. regardless of what players are loyal. I very much doubt it as no team has dont it previously other than maybe Leeds.....?
-
it is a bit OTT but no other club that has finished 8th and 7th have lost over half of its starting 11 in 12 months. that is bizarre also. Will leicester lose 4 players this summer? probably not will palace lose bolasie, cabeye and dann? doubt it That saints side cant have been the best ever to have finished 7th
-
Absolutely appalling today. Even if he never got his marching orders, his performance was terrible. Those tackles that brought the yellow were just stupid. He should never have been on the pitch as long has he was
-
We had dominant spells. But only really two chances. Long has to score and a header he put to the ground which bounced up and the keeper turned over. Clasie had a decent shot from distance and Bertrand shanked a volley in a good position. But we never tested their keeper in the whole 2nd half, again. But they also shanked a couple of very good chances in the 1st half when VvD was all over the place We just never looked like scoring and just regressed more and more in the 2nd half. Koeman never looked like changing but did, not when Vic was sent off but after they scored. Those changes needed to have happened way earlier. It was like everything we did very well against Arsenal was thrown in the bin
-
thing is. He has been backed more than any other saints manager I remember in my life time. This team is very much his. Very much his players in almost every aspect. I think the club should be doing less squad padding and more starters being brought in. But RK has been backed He could be putting pressure on the club as he knows the fans are very much behind him (for now) or, he could be distancing himself prior to a summer exit?

Been watching (all of) a new US docu-series on Netflix called Making a Murderer. 10 parter excellent to view. Shows incredible flaws in the local (and probably the wider US) justice system Highly recommended to all
-
what do you expect? we have LOST 7 of the last 9.....not just won once in the last 9 with a few draws. but LOST 7 of 9 that is more than just a spell. Not that long ago at The Dell, fans would be going mental about it.
