Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES
Sergei Gotsmanov replied to sadoldgit's topic in The Lounge
I admire your robust defence of a minority in our country but you have to take your head out of the sand. Today there are places where Jewish people are unable to walk in our country for fear of their lives. This betrays all of the modern day values that almost all of us subscribe to. Anti-Semitism is mainstream in parts of our society and that is unacceptable. -
absolutely classic.

Good on them for enjoying themselves. They have travelled 400 miles to see their team who did not seem to care. I salute them.

Question Regarding Family Stand - ST Holders with kids
Sergei Gotsmanov replied to JonnyLove's topic in The Saints
As I understand it and was told by the club, if your daughter is not with then you cannot sit in the family stand. I pointed out that during evening games on school nights I was not going to take my children and that seemed to make no difference. If you upgrade her ticket the ticket office will ask you if you have children in your party. If you have none then they will not upgrade. Having said that I doubt anyone will notice if you attend without her. -
Matt Targett - Joins Aston Villa (Official)
Sergei Gotsmanov replied to Kaiser Soze's topic in The Saints
Would still rather watch them come through than someone who has no long term connection with the club. I am a Saints fan and have built up some immunity to players leaving. -

He will be a great player one day but just needs game time. I would rather have a youngster gaining game time than some fickle 30K a week player looking for their next move. -
Big multinationals benefit from the red tape and bureaucracy because they can absorb the costs better than their smaller rivals. As for academics and universities they benefit most from grants so obviously will be keen for us to stay in.

Yes they are a nightmare. I cannot change the time on the Mrs's Fitbit Surge. It does however sync quite easily but on my laptop. Unfortunately you cannot measure the enrgy you use trying to sort it!

He is making the quite legitimate point that the funding model for the NHS breaks down when people have access to it who have not paid in to it. He has provided first hand evidence of that breakdown.

I said respecting the democratic will of the people. Why do you think that the EU parliament is full of protest politicians.

Sorry I had to ring Boris

I slightly object to being termed as a swivel eyed loon and will in reality make up my mind based on economics but the reasons why I lean towards Brexit can be summarised as follows and would be delighted to have my mind put at ease. 1 The EU is profoundly undemocratic and the parliament is now made up of 30% or so of eccentric politicians who were elected on a 'protest vote' or bureaucrats who were not elected at all 2 The freedom of movement, which I agree with in principle, is fundamentally flawed. You cannot have such a significant minimum wage variance across a single market and not expect a surge in migration to more affluent countries. As we have discovered this mass migration has significant implications, for schooling, health care and wage deflation at the lower end. I would like to see us determine who comes in and how many. We could have been in a much better situation to help the Syrian refugees if we controlled our borders 3 I think that parts of Southern Europe are heading for a massive financial crisis which will have considerable repercussions for the rest of Europe. We will inevitably be affected even if we leave, but our obligations will not be so great if we are 'out' 4 Europe generally is stagnant at best economically and we would be better served developing other expanding world markets. European exports have now fallen below 50% of our overall exports. As we are Germany's biggest export markets I am confident that they will ensure a favourable deal 5 I don't feel European

Enjoyed that

Gaston will get a good run of games and will be part of a Boro promotion team that will give him the momentum and confidence to play in the premier league with Boro. He will be a success. Sadly not with us though!

If Boris opts to lead the out vote then we are probably in for a very close call. I think you can expect the same pattern as the Scottish referendum; polls that show the leave camp artificially inflated and then a shift back to stay in the polling booth as people vote with their heads and not their hearts. If the leave camp are in the lead in the polls then this will surely spook the EU into making more concessions just like in the Scottish referendum.
-
Well I would expect a narrow call but in the great tradition of EU democracy if we vote to leave then there will immediately be a new package put together and we would be given another referendum when we vote to stay in.
