The Nazi's were not religious they tolerated christianity. Religion creates the tribes, that generate the enemies, that allows the human instinct to fight come out. It is the interpretation of the religion that causes the problems.

Well I am delighted that there is more accountability than I thought. I think politics should be done out of duty and not as a career. I like people to have lived in the real world before they enter politics. All sides are now guilty of this.

Generally in my opinion people who answer to a God are more likely to have better morale compass than those that answer to other men. That is a very general statement though.

It is their religion though and it is a basic right to practice it. I am sure there are a minority of women that are made to wear the Burkha but that should not prevent those that choose to freely. Is it legal to make somebody wear a Burkha?

I agree with most of this but why ban the Burkha? It should be anybody's right to wear what they like. Who are we to tell people what to wear? We should not interfere with people's culture, that is a fundemental right.

Well I did tackle my co-passenger on this and he said that the reason why women wore the veil was so that they could be judged on who they were not how they looked; I think that shows respect. I do sympathise a little bit on the driving ban in place in some parts of the Muslim world.

I am not a scholar but as far as I understood much of the old testament is in the Koran. They teach respect and love just like the bible. It is just a stricter version of Christianity.

I sat next to a Muslim convert on the way back from India once and he explained the workings of the Koran. Muslims believe in the same God as Christians and believe that Jesus existed but was just a prophet. From what I gathered they believe that the new Testament was penned a long time after the event and have been amended to suit other people. I may be wrong but he did not have a long beard and a bomb and spoke a lot of sense. It is all in the interpretation; there are some quite radical Christians who have interpreted the bible differently to the mainstream. It is easy to suggest that all Muslims are out to get us.

I am sorry but I did not call you a fascist a nazi or big brother himself, just drawing your attention to how hypocritical your stance was.
