3-4 to Liverpool. Terrible back pass, Norwich are way too slow playing out the back.
-
Haha, it was inevitable!
-
Great ball from Mr. Nivea, tidy finish. Defending is non-existent in this game!
-
The Liverpool lot on Reddit really don't think very much of him either. "Adam Lallana. He'll make the difference. He's gonna turn with the ball and shift his weight from side to side repeatedly until Norwich just give up."

2-1 Norwich!

I love watching Liverpool concede from awful defending. 1-1.

Stick with the same formation please Ron, Man United don't have any proper full backs - probably Darmian on the right (not the best) and Blind on the left (awful at LB). Get down the wings and into the box. If the rumours are true and Davis is out I think JWP would be his replacement. I don't think Vic and Romeu would start together, they've played together before and we looked unbalanced. JWP either behind the striker or out on the right, where I believe he's played before and looked half decent. Tadic as super sub to score the winner!

A win could put us 7th, assuming Stoke (Leicester away) lose and Palace (Spurs home) and Liverpool (Norwich away) draw or worse, which isn't inconceivable. Think it will be a scrappy game with few chances - let's hope we're more clinical than usual. Time for Mane to start scoring again.

Refereed the Chelsea-Everton game at the weekend. Lots of articles about him being lucky not to be demoted. Hooray.

I trust Koeman to pick the right formation for this; United are pretty dire at the moment and they're going to be under a lot of pressure to play more attacking football from the fans and the media, so I think he'll stick with the Watford/WBA formation. I'm slightly worried about Schneiderlin playing though - if there's a game he'll be suited for, it's against the team he knows best in the league, and it would be a real chance for him to show what he can do against Mane/Davis/Tadic. Hopefully Van Gaal will continue with his master tactic of dropping him for Fellaini.

Yep, that's a grinning face, not an angry one. Meaning he is very happy here. Nothing else to it.

Villa are down as it stands but after Leicester last season, I won't count anybody out until it's mathematically certain. Would love for Sunderland to go down, they don't add much to the league and have only survived for this long by virtue of other teams in the league being appalling (see: QPR, Burnley, Cardiff, etc.). I doubt they would be looking at an instant return to the PL (EFL?) if they go down either; more likely they'd do a Fulham and settle down in the Championship midtable. WBA would not be missed either but I can't see it happening. Swansea are looking likely and I would be all for it if it meant Sigurdsson was available!

I'm staying with my girlfriend at the moment so I've only got my Photoshop-less laptop with me so this was the best I could do with an online image editor - there's no point in trying to change the badge without a mouse and decent software.

Better than Adidas.

Little and Gape were excellent, controlled the midfield for much of the first half.
-
Brilliant save by Forster to stop 1-1.

Sammy G also recalled from MK Dons.

Mane and Pelle need to develop the relationship that Lallana and Lambert had in their final season - knowing where the other is, freedom of the final third, taking their time and playing intelligent balls. There's too much hoofing at the moment for my liking. I pretty much agree with everybody else that Wanyama needs to spend some time on the bench or with the U21s, he's not on it at all at the moment. Consistency would be nice especially in the attacking players, but I do think we need an actual backup plan that's been worked on beforehand when Pelle is getting shut down, rather than chucking on Juanmi with 15 minutes left and nobody knowing what they're supposed to be doing. It's a plan B but it's obviously not one that's being actively worked on in training. Getting some kind of result from a very in-form Arsenal would do us the world of good.
-
I agree, it is time to think about a change - but the change should be our approach to matches, not changing the manager. Koeman seems to be falling into the same mindset with Pelle and Wanyama as LvG has with Rooney - they are sometimes brilliant and so start every game, even if they've been poor for 4-5 games in a row. Give Seager, Hesketh, Wood, Gape or McQueen a go. Sure, they're not 'Premier League standard' yet, but I think they would probably go out there and give it their all, and would mean the opposition haven't got much of an idea about how to deal with them before the game. Can a fresh and in-form Seager be much worse than an out-of-form Shane Long?

You're that kind of retired person that goes on South Today when somebody's proposed an off-shore wind farm to protest against it because it's a "blot on the landscape" and "doesn't look very nice" like that's a solid fact and a relevant point, aren't you? In your opinion they don't look nice, but I expect you'd object to a coal power plant on your landscape too. Which would you prefer?
-
0-1. Awful from both of our CBs. van Djik looking like Danny Fox there.
-
Seems like every time I hear the commentator say 'Wanyama' he loses the ball.

Very good stream if anybody's looking: http://freefootylive.net/2nd/

Found you Koeman! Happy with that side, especially if Gazza plays as well as he did last week.
-
Or that! I stopped remembering last week happened after Villa scored.
