Only tuned in at about 35 minutes in. Observations so far: JWP looking half-decent, Targett looks vastly improved over the Everton game, Yoshi looking good at RB (though I don't understand why Cedric isn't there). Pelle's chesting skills are ace, JRod still looks rusty, Romeu looks pretty good. Mane looks frustrated, he's trying to do too much on his own. Caulker's goal should have stood, penalty call was good work by Pelle, JWP and referee. Midgetlland are defending very dense and deep. Could be tricky to score another.

Did we not give Veho the contract on the cheap to help support a local company? In comparison to the TV revenue, shirt sponsorship isn't too important for clubs of our size.

Seems ridiculous to me, what can Villa offer him that we can't? He's the first name on the teamsheet every week, and rightly so. As many have pointed out he's just got a new agent who's probably looking for a pay day, either from a transfer or a new contract. We can't afford to lose Jose, our defence has already looked shaky this season, it would fall apart without him. Should be our highest earner.

Must be a sell-out... right?
-
Do we know what the fee is? Somebody on Reddit has said around £5m but I don't know where they got that from.

The kids aren't ready yet. Our reputation for giving young players chances seems to be almost exclusively for attacking-minded players (I'm including Shaw and Chambers in that); CB and GK are positions where you can't afford to be bullied around - a mistake could easily equal an opposition goal - and players tend to keep getting better with age. Look at Terry and Fonte, two of the best CBs in the league. If Turnbull were playing CB against Man City or somebody then there's a good chance he wouldn't have the physicality or experience to deal with their attackers and end up making mistakes, causing us to concede goals and for his confidence to go down the pan. Young attacking players, great, the more the merrier. Young CBs/GKs - get them out on loan until they're ready.

If you're reading this Corporate Ho I'd like to point out, for the record, that I am a 21-year-old living with his mum.
-
That... he was at the game.
-
I hear whispers that Les Reed is at the game..?

I think the decision is made easier knowing you have kids - if you have any choice at all, do not rent with small children. Owning gives security - you're not going to get kicked out at the end of a year because somebody else wants it or the landlord doesn't fancy it anymore. Equally, you don't have to worry about a child drawing on the walls (guilty!) and then being charged by your landlord for it. Keep the house, watch the price rise, sell up when the kids have left and move to America where houses are cheap!

1-0, Marcus Barnes, Clasie assist.
-
Injured, commentator just said.
-
...oh yeah. That would explain why he's not playing!
-
Not sure, no Gallagher either. Might just be training full time with the first team?
-
Clasie, Wood and Debayo all featuring, they all look promising. Live streaming on YouTube, kick-off at 7pm. Saints U21: Gazzaniga, Gape, McCarthy ©, Wood, Debayo, Clasie, Reed, Hesketh, McQueen, Isgrove, Barnes. Subs: Isted (GK), Cook, Sims, Olomola, Little.

Andy Carroll is always back 'soon-ish'!
-
Have a look at this, explains it fairly concisely. Basically we need four teams to lose to lower-ranking opposition in this round.
-
Pretty quick for their chance just then, good defending.
-
Assist for Ward-Prowse? Best stream I've found.
-
7pm, live on BT Sport 2 (and multiple dodgy streams).
-
3 English fans and 50 Dutch arrested. Apparently Feyenoord fans (?) were causing trouble and some Saints fans wanted some too.
-
From the way they're listed I thought Caulker RB and Martina LB? No idea if Caulker can play RB though.
-
Both ankles! Even when fit though he doesn't exactly light the place up.
