Agreed. Our model is to buy them, take all the risks and if they do prove themselves well sell to top 6. If they fail we get stuck or sometimes give them payrises So we do develop players for other clubs just in a more costly way.

I call it insurance betting but "happiness bet" sounds right. Made a shed load betting against us last season. For some reason bookies still always fancied (especially at home) was really easy money and genuinely does soften the blow of another defeat. I also had 2 large bets on us being relegated and cashed out around the right time. Will have money again on us being relegated and have a few quid already backing Burnley. Happiness bets make sense

Burnley will have less quality than us (by that I mean players that cost less and get paid less) They will however have a better team spirit, organisation, determination and winning mentality. Can see a 3-1 Burnley win
