To be fair - Watford are probably a soft touch in the negotiation stakes. Dealing with Les Reed is terrifying - id personally like to see Reed take care of all Brexit negotiations
-
Maybe les reeds old stomping ground.... Bishop's Stortford FC of the Southern League Premier

I thought he was a fraud and not good enough for SFC? What have Everton been smoking??
-
Would need to prove himself in a tougher league 1st. These Scandinavian leagues are pretty poor standard. Think Ronny Deila and Ole Gunnar Solskjær

If (god forbid) we are relegated I will collect best part of £2k from the bookies. Summer relegation odds of 50/1 now at 14/1 I see Bookies favorites are still Swansea (8/13) Palace (8/11) and Huddersfield (5/2) We seem to be as likely as Everton, Burnley, Stoke and Newcastle according to betting sites

Approaching a manager already in work - is that even allowed?
-
You wouldn't write off a player after 10 games and two months - would you??
-
who would you go for instead mate?
-
He said we had lost our ambition? He was right!! Not sure how thats disrespect? That summer we sold 5 first team players and replaced them with cheaper alternatives. It kinda worked for us temporarily, but that doesn't change the fact that he was right. People just seem to object when people speak the truth. Truth hurts

We had started to build a decent reputation for giving the BIG boys a tough game. Even our fisrt season back in the top flight we had wins over Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea. Last season was the first full blank for long long time. Even our relegation season (2004) we had a few wins over the big 6.

No doubt mate - 2015: The Impossibility Of Pleasure Without Pain 2017: Pain without pleasure?
-
Remember the good days when we used to take a game to the top 6 sides and win? Try and cast your mind back to 2015 Won at Chelsea 3-1 Beat Arsenal 4-0 Won away at Man U 1-0 Beat Man C 4-2 Won away at Spurs 2-1 Beat Liverpool 3-2

Poch, he was comfortable with same with clyne same with Toby (remember when we shouted about taking legal action, ffs) No bids for Shaw Black with international pedigree Best midfield options in the country Leicester have copied us break through the glass ceiling and into the champions league Everything is going very positively, Koeman leaves few days later when he compared the black box to "Bridge of the Starship Enterprise" Puel was top choice on "very impressive" Southampton shortlist "the next addition will be down in reception with the trophy cabinet.”
-
Reconcile his previous motivational performances and youll see that he really only says hello after a good run of good results. Hes probably had a load of videos made the last 18 months but been unable to release due to our prolonged poor form. I guess his last message was to say last season was all Puels fault (ala sacking)

Says 13.5m here buddy https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/southampton-fc/transfers/verein/180/plus/0?saison_id=2015&pos=&detailpos=&w_s=

Only Reed could sell an England International for 500k and then pay £13.5m for Jordy Clasie The list of incompetencies grows by the day
-
Sure they do. Club is full of clowns

Yes that golden partnership with John Barnes This much-hyped appointment was unsuccessful, however, and included a shock Scottish Cup defeat at the hands of Inverness Caledonian Thistle in February (which gave birth to the famous headline from The Sun: "Super Caley go ballistic, Celtic are atrocious"). Barnes was sacked shortly afterwards and is now widely considered to be one of the worst managers in Celtic's history Poor Eric just seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time - consistantly

Probably easier to ask what has Black done right? Black was assistant manager to Steve Kean at Blackburn Rovers - Blackburn relegated He then went to Blackpool to support Barry Ferguson - Blackpool won only three of their twenty games Next he goes to Wigan (July 2014) - Wigan relegated to league 1 Next up was Rotherham - Black was named as first team coach of Championship side Rotherham United (July 15) - They won just 6 of the 30 games he was there and were rock bottom. He left and Rotherham appointed Neil Warnock - the final 13 games Rotherham went W6, D5 L2 and stayed up. Next was Villa - first team coach and then temp manager. Villa relegated SFC next and its been decline, decline, decline

I think Always is right this time - when Cortese left nobody was worried or complaining or predicting any kind of meltdown or player exodus. The papers reported a little bit but Reed sure did show them.....
-
Bloody heck. I was a massive Cortese fan after everything he did for us. But your insider scope about him trying to sell the club that he never owned behind Kats back have turned my stomach. Was he going to sell the club he didnt own and then take the bags of cash and jewells to "clock land" Cortese the sneaky deceitful artful dodger. Ill put this new exclusive in the drawer with "Les Reed signed Lambert" and we cant be successful in 2017 as we weren't successfully in 1965 #welimpon #cuckoo

Agreed! We should definitely let the past hold us back. Once a loser always a loser right..... Im just glad to have a club. Jiminy Cricket.... Show me a good loser, ill show u a loser
