After a couple of days of golf in Turnberry it was quite satisfying to hear the Koeman news on the drive home. I wont get as hysterical about it as some of you as he did a fantastic job for us and i will always be grateful. 7th,6th and 7th premier league finishes with 2 different clubs. Boufal came here after a brilliant season in france. Puel absolutely killed his confidence and hopefully Pellegrino can rebuild him from the ashes. Positive signs so far, seems stronger, quicker and more direct than under Puel. Now needs a run of games and some TLC from the boss and team and fans

Pellegrino has no captain (Fonte) or one of last seasons top goal scorers (Jay) he has a striking and stroping VVD and a team riddled with last seasons hangover. He also had to keep Puels mate Eric Black.

No what he did was take over a team on a massive massive high (continuous improvement for 7 seasons) and managed to get us the quick fast boot from Europe, drop 17 points, score less, concede more. If he delivers a similar size drop off for Leicester then they will be relegated this year.

I would PMSL if they hire Puel. Followed by a swift visit to the bookies for a bet on Leicester relegation - currently 8/1 odds
